FWIW, if you are on Windows and are having issues with the installer for whatever reason, downloading a demo and using keygen works flawlessly.

That's true for me too...

I finally, after years, installed DP and played with it for 1h. Found out it's the least intuitive sequencer I've ever tried.

Samplitude, for example, which I think has one of the most dificult learning curves, beats the sh*t out of it.... in every aspect. Better native fx and instruments and a far superior workflow, stability and overall quality.

Guys, this is not to start a fight, but i was wondering.
I just read this, from the dp10 webpage, from the features list:

'Digital Performer’s Mix Mode menu in the Mixing Board lets you create, save, edit and switch between multiple mixdowns of your project. For example, you could create several completely different mixes of the same sequence. A mix consists of all the volume, pan, plug-in and other mix automation data in all the tracks of the sequence, as well as all of the current plug-ins inserted on tracks.'

This, is the EQUIVALENT of the new cubase10 feature called 'mixer snapshots', right ?

Steinberg said currently the mixer snapshots cannot save the automation data, right?

Now, I'm confused. If 'even' (not underestimating it at all) DP10 or older can save the entire mix state, including automation, WHY can't cubase10 do it as well ?

I mean, saving/loading some simple data automation from tracks should be something much more easy to code/implement than loading/unloading hundreds of plugins inserted in hundreds of tracks... but cubase 10 can't do it ?

Does it smell like a feature from the paid future v10.5 update ?
'...we, at steinberg, we listen to our customers feedback, and now you can also save your automation data with your mixer snapshots...'
they will sell it as a new feature... when it should have been added in a 10.0.5 update.

what you guys think ...

That's an interesting reflection/questions, but given the nature of the possible answers, that would speak mostly about Cubase, it would be much better to create a thread at Audiosex about it.

I tested it. Absolute garbage !!
The audio hardware's state changed while MAS was running /. This is the first message that l receive and then no sound + midi.
If I enter the audio settings (but I do not necessarily reset it), it will writes it again, but I already have audio.
Vst3 examination is not perfect because 10% of vsts failed!
You have to choose whether vst2 or vst3 because it doenst handle both at same time!
The free reaper or cakewalk beats this dp rubbish...!

I haven't use 10 either, I'm with 9.5 and the chunks & audio tempo features are superb. Hope anybody can share 10.1 for Mac.
