How did you get it to work? I followed all of the instructions. Copied over the AuthAssistant folder to the appropriate location, installed iLok, clicked Authorize, clicked Offline Authorization, clicked Authorize with iLok and it keeps saying "The iLok drivers on this computer are currently not responding. Please choose from the options below to authorize this product." which was Use Challenge/Response option. I'm at a total lost. Any help would do.

I have exactly the same problem. not workign for me. Tried unsitall and reinstall- i lok drivers not responding

1. I have downloaded the latest iLok License Manager (in my case x64 version cause i have win 7 sp1 x64)
2. Installed the program
3. And replaced all authassistant.exe from C:\Program Files (x86)\iZotope\Neutron\AuthAssistant with the ones provided in the release.

Opened my DAW (Reaper) > opened Neutron > click Authorize button > click Finish button.

rootwits Oh ok. See, that's what I did. The very same thing and it's not working. Lol! And the iLok License Manager won't even load up. I guess I need to keep doing trial and error until I figure it out. I have never in my 15 years installing vsts from online ran into this problem.

You are not new here, so you should know that no requests are allowed as comment in a post.

Cwelly and those who have issues installing just read nfo and look for the main sub izotope folder and find neutron and go into authassistant folder and replace all 5 authassistant files within those folders with r2r's authassistant files and that should authorize it cheers thank you a million always funtime and R2R blessings family

Hey thanks for replying back. I did that exact thing. I copied over the authassistant files to the right folder and everything. The authorization part keeps popping up when I load up the VST and when I try to do the iLok thing, it still doesn't work. I appreciate it none-the-less. This is an awesome plugin.

Got it to work - download the newest ilock licenser. In the archive there is a registery cleaner in the troubleshooting folder. Unistall the licenseer - clean the registry with the tool restart. Reinstall the licenser. Seems like there is something in the registry that blocks the drivers ...

Katowi I must have the worst luck in the world. I tried that, didn't work. If I can't figure it out, I'll wait till there is a release that's not an emulator. I appreciate this release for those involved though!

Check This out if anyones ILOK auth is not working....

Go to Administrative Tools/Services/ and see if "Pace License Services" status is "running".

If not running then that is the problem.

The quick fix is to double click or right click and select Properties then change "Startup Type" from "Automatic" to "Automatic (Delayed Startup)". This causes the Pace service to wait a while before running.

I'm not clear on what the "Emulator" included with this is, since I don't have a Windoze machine, but if it's an iLok dongle emulator, like the olden days, I assume you have to make sure the emulator is actually running (switched on). When it's off, it's just like not having an iLok plugged in.

On MAC you can crack them much easier! No hassles with iLok...
…just iZotope's crappy new installers are a p.i.t.a. for MAC users as well as the new versions of Logic PRO X.

I download the free stuff and have actually bought software that I thought was awesome enough to spend my money on(Reason and Omnisphere) I know for a fact, I wouldn't have bought any of them had I not been able to try out a fully functioning copy! Thanks!

An update: tried this out a song I made 2 days ago. Nothing but the track assistant. And holy crap. It came out okay. Did a few tweaks here and there and it was a great mix. Excellent tool. This'll save me hours and hours of mixing work. The frequency masking tool is magnificent.

Guess I was lucky. Installed it following instructions, opened it up i Reaper and it was already authorized.
I guess it's because I recently updated iLok license manager and have other Izotope stuff with emulators already installed

Anyway, many thanks to R2R - this is one great plugin!
