Hey guys, I'm having a trouble during my instalation process, can someone please help me? I'm running my Omnisphire as administator and I'm not getting it black, it just pops up a message "Unable to access plugin folder. C:\Program Files\Spectrasonics\Ominisphere. Check folder permissions." I don't know where I'm mistaken, I've already created the shortcut, ran the Omnisphere update.exe, created the plug-ins/64bits folder inside the Spectrasonics folder, patched the plug-ins and same error, Is anybody having the same error

if youre getting this error "Unable to access plugin folder. C:\Program Files\Spectrasonics\Ominisphere. Check folder permissions." make sure you rename the STEAM shortcut correctly.

shortcut should be named STEAM, not STEAM - shortcut

Hi,

I have successfully installed everything, however, I am now trying to move my steam folder to an external hard drive.

I have moved it to my external hard drive and deleted it from my application support folder, but when I try to point omnisphere to the new STEAM folder location, it says 'error sorry link creation failed omnisphere' Along with other error messages. Can anyone advise? Thanks

Thanks so much to 'The Pirate' for this,
I'm struggling to open it though sadly,

Running FL 20.7.2 on Windows 7

So i've followed everything that is in the notepad document, now upon opening Omnisphere in FL, i'm given the authorisation screen, When i input the response code and close down the application, it just takes me back to this screen when i try and reopen it.

Before when i tried it,
it came up saying the following:
The Fruity Wrapper plugin has caused a critical error while loading it's state.

It is strongly advised to close the application and restart it, without trying to save your project. You will find a backup history of your projects in the Backup folder in the browser,

Please contact your plugins manufacturer about this problem.


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys! How are you doing? I could move forward through my installation process, Now I’m having an issue when I try to update in the step 7, I unzip the folder and run as a administrator but it pops up the error “an error occurred while trying to create a file in the destination directory. Access denied.” Can you guys imagine how can I fix that?
I've tried to go to DVD Drive (D:) I Tried to change the permissions in the folder but i get the massage that i can't edit that folder, or if i try to send directly to my "STEAM" Folder inside spectrasonics I get the message that "This is not the STEAM folder, perhaps you selected a shortcut folder? The STEAM Folder must have an Omnisphere folder subfolder" Can someone please help me?

Interesting.... 2.6.0 works properly, but when I upgrade to 2.6.3 the Logic Pro X 10.5.1 crashes.

can anyone help. when I save a project using Omnisphere, and I open it later the presets don't save. How can I fix this?

bit late but I saw your post. This is a known problem and it hasnt been solved, sometimes it works sometimes not, I find it is random. Never quit your daw without writing down the names of the presets in your tracks and save the multi as well (this one holds any edits you made to the sounds). This routine will avoid headaches, Digital Performer 8 , 9 and 10 here. Logic, same problem. Good Luck

I'm very late but i'd a "little" problem with my Mac and I saw this post and download it. Everythings ok till i've to run the Omnisphere 2 Data Updater (Soundsources) installer 2.6.0c...it ends up with a window saying " Ready for next Volume - Please Insert". Some Mac expert can help me please? Thank you in advance.

Hi boys, I use Cubase 10.5 on Osx Sierra but this Omnisphere version appears like "32 bit" (and not "64 bit"), so Cubase put it into "BlockList". How can I switch to 64 bit version?
I upgraded to 2.6.0e software...

Hi were you or anyone else able to solve this? Omni works perfectly for me, I just can't install the extra libraries and also the same error "Ready for next Volume - Please Insert" pops up when I'm trying to install Keyscape. Would be great if anyone has a solution for this.

Sorry now I'm on Mojave and installed Software Update 2.6.4c, Soundsource Library Update 2_6_1c and Patch_Library_Update_2_6_3c, but in Cubase 11, Omnisphere is 32 bit too. and goes into "blocklist".... Why?

I have successfully downloaded the file but I couldn't use the vst engine in Fl studio 20. It required me to redo the key generation process which I have already done. When I opened the standalone Vst alone without using FL Studio everything works fine...

I have realized my mistakes by not patching the vst ' Omnisphere.dll'. There were 2 things to patch... Sorry my bad

But right now I'm using an amd ryzen 5 3600 XT but the Vsti just seems a bit laggy. I only have 1 drive I think maybe its time for an upgrade?

Btw a big thanks to the pirate, today is 29/8/2021 and the thing still works. All the link still works. I have purchased a premium account on rapidgator to show my respect and appreciation towards the community. Thank you
