I downloaded this cuda version atleast 6 months ago and it didnt work.

This version works in Cubase 5?

Can i use this to run the plug ins. i use pt. i want to use it with the vst wrapper.

this stuff has been sitting in my hard drive for a while but I don't have the time to get deep into it, I prefer to spend that time creating...and after reading this http://blog.subvertallmedia.com/2012/11/30/nebula-19-months-later/ I'm even thinking of never dealing with it unless it's really worth the time

1.3.656 needs authorization to work. I may sound like a fanboy ( i prolly am) but i highly recommend investing ( e.g. Buying) into These guys. Nebula 4 is Not far away...N.A.T. Sampler will be 64 Bit..!!! 3 rd. party Devs are also realy Great guys...(henry olonga). PLZ Support them!!

2.MASTER Ko : master descriptor not found( nebula 3core ii6 4 reverb.xml)

YOU NEED THE CUDA TOOLKIT 3 FROM NVIDIA SITE, to use the cuda bridge correctly.
IT ONLY WORKS WITH THIS OLD RELEASE of cuda drivers, but also with a gtx 780 I open only a few istances of alex B library using nebula 3 pro air release:/ I need more CPU power
I would like to know how to use this "Server Version", can I set it to use the power of a second PC or Server in my office?? can you explain to me how to do, please?? tnx in advance!:)

Cuda stuff is a hassle, and only works with certain programs (long reverbs for instance), most other nebula-programs actually make it slower. It was done once as a test and hasn't been updated since, and probably will NOT do anything useful on newer cards that work with cuda5 (you need to install the older cuda drivers to get it to work, and they don't recognize newer cards and will fall back to cpu emulation as it's explained on the Nebula forums).

regular Nebula3-Pro is as simple as 'install, next next next next done' as any other program. I believe the server edition is also simple, but you need to install both pro + server and then make sure you got IP address settings correct in XML files (never worked with the server edition myself). Getting cuda to work is a PITA. which they say themselves and are recommending to just not do it. Speed gains are minimal and a good modern i7 quad core can do the work just as good.

the stuff nebula does it just not 'complex' enough to warrant the huge memory transfer latencies needed to do cuda stuff. So your CPU is more busy with transferring stuff from and to your videocard, then your videocard is actually doing some calculating.

Is this better that Nebula 3 Pro? I read lots of articles but can's seem to figure out the difference between this and Neb 3 Pro. Could some guru be so nice to explain?

Dear Catalyst, if I understand correctly the server version spreads the CPU load between networked computers but I'm still wondering if there is an advantage using Nebula Server on a single, not networked computer

UPDATE: After some more research it seems better to just stick to Neb 3 Pro.

Hello guys, I have a little problem with Nebula 3 server. I installed N3 server on my laptop, toshiba satellite c-something. When I run N3 (standalone, via fl studio) I have this error message : "cudart 32_40_17.dll is not found on your computer".

So, I reinstalled N3 server but nothing change, always the same damn problem.

Then, I'm looking on the web the ".dll" missing (cudart 32_40_17.dll) and place it in "\system32" folder. Again, nothing change.

Any idea ? Please help. Thx!

I'm having the exact same issue as above. I'm on Win7 64-bit and using Reaper. No matter what I couldn't get this version to work and it would cause Reaper to hang.

I found using the Nebula Pro version (search the site) still gives the Cuda error, but I can at least use it (unlike this version).

If anyone knows a solution for the .DLL error please share (no results on Google about it).

I installed it and when i run it in my DAW i get this message:

Anyone ever find a solution to the "Cudart64_40_17.dll missing" everytime Nebula is loaded? I downloaded that .dll tried placing it in various places and also reinstalled the old Cuda 2.3 version with no luck.

I was hoping maybe there was some setting to turn off Cuda entirely so Nebula wouldn't even look for it, but I'm still at a loss to make any progress.

soo guys, I'm seeing that they're some nebula versions around here (pro version, free, server ?? kinda confusing), just wanna know wich is the ideal version to use with 3rd party libraries and just simply do the job?
