Sample player unlocked for YellowTools/BestService (E-Licensor protected) & MAGIX Independence (Vita/Protein protected) libraries & also some old YellowTools (WibuKey protected) libraries.

I can understand what you say about Kontakt, programming it is not intuitive, BUT it s (for me) THE SKY of stability compared with that old Gigastudio nightmare times damn

So I love Kontakt, and like always happens, in the future it will be replaced with: a better version of itself or with something that solves it s unintuitive nature, maintaining it s power.

On Windows the standalone won't work with Asio4All.
ENGINE sees it in Audio Preferences but when I open Asio4All's settings, Audio Output is X'd out.
Also, in all my other standalone applications that use Asio4All, it opens in the app tray when I run them.It's not doing that with ENGINE. dunno

I'm having the exact same problem with Asio4All. Even tried updating to the latest Asio4ALL (2.11.beta 1) but still no luck. This is weird!

It works but make sure no other app is using/running on Asio4All at the time you try/run the Engine.

An of course you can use a VST host or native audio (they call it MultiMedia)!

hahahahahahaha.... if you didn't know it yet i tell you: you can download this engine for free at best service. it isn't locked in any way. the libs are locked with serial. even if you have a lib without the serial you cant do nothing. this unlocked is total bullshit.

nonsense ..tested with Titan works even without a serial on Mac. Run installer of Content and Add the Lib ala Kontakt.

Has anyone got a library functioning with this yet? I've downloaded Magix Independence, but Engine won't recognise the libraries.... I'm only guessing where to put them (then trying to acces them from prefs, but no good) then I'm told I can't run them unauthorised. I'm on Mac... should they be in lib app support or user docs or am I a dumbass. I suspect the latter.

Got everything working with Independence Pro on Windows 8, Here's how:

Put all the Independence Pro .YTIF files into a folder (call it whatever you want)
Create a shortcut of this folder

Put all the Independence Pro .YTIL files into another folder (call it whatever you want)
Create a shortcut of this folder

Now install MAGIX Best Service Engine

Move the shortcut of the .YTIF folder into C:/ProgramData/Best Service/image files

Move the shortcut of the .YTIL folder into C:/ProgramData/Best Service/layers

That's it, they should show up immediately and the original Folders can be anywhere on your system. This should also work with other libraries too.

Mac Install Independence Pro and workaround for Best Service Engine - I installed the pro version of Independence by dragging the YTIF files from the dmg(s to a folder on my EXTERNAL hard drive. In disk one for Independence there are zip files unzip them especially those dealing with Mac OSX. I then dragged the folders (Magix.independence.pro) and the folder Layers to the same folder as the YTIF files. The folder layers has the presets or instruments in it, the other folder may not be important. I installed the Best Service Engine. Once installed I placed an Alias of the independence pro library from my external HD in the folder Macintosh/Library/application support/Best service/engine/image files. I THEN OPENED THE PLUGIN VERSION IN LOGIC WENT TO THE PREF'S TAB AND DID A ADD LIBRARY LOCATED THE ORIGINAL INDEPENDENCE LIBRARY FOLDER THEN HIT SAVE AT THE BOTTOM. RESTART THE PLUGIN. THAT SHOULD BE IT WORKS FOR ME.
P.S. SIDE NOTE AFTER INSTALLING THE BEST SERVICE ENGINE YOU MUST RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.

Tip for adding Libraries into Engine 2:

1) Preferences > Libraries > add library > (find it) enter >
at this moment Library must be visible in Preferences/Libraries.

Now important:
(Please don t click/light the point at the left of library or it will not be seen after all this process)

2) Click Refresh > Click Save Preferences.
3) Close Engine 2, and open it again.
Now Lib must be visible in Brownser.

This is for PC users. mates

I am having troubles uninstalling this thing, the installer says "Setup can not continue because there is a newer ENGINE 2.1.0.106 installed on your system. To downgrade please uninstall it yourself using Add-Remove programs before attempting to install this product."

Tried msizap, didn't help. Any idea how to uninstall it?

Has anybody been able to add their VST's to this engine? Instructions say copy your vst's into the Engine's vst folder...done that but they are not showing up when I add layer. If someone figured this out pls share...if not it's still cool to have access to only the libraries.
