If you're a serious composer, EastWest/Quantum Leap Hollywood Orchestral Percussion Diamond Edition is a must-have compositional tool. Utilizing unique repetition sim techniques and sophisticated 8-way round-robin implementation for an ultra-realistic performance, this phenomenal orchestral sample library will breathe new life into your arrangements. Do your compositions lack impact? Well, Hollywood Orchestral Percussion's meticulously recorded timpani and bass drums - including the Epic Bass Drum Ensemble and Mahler Hammer - give this library serious punch, while its massive array of snare drums, cymbals, chimes, celesta, and vintage field drums add those elusive accents that will glue your arrangements together.

Hollywood Orchestral Percussion also focuses on performance speed and offers specific samples that accommodate lightning-fast tempos. Find out why the major Hollywood composers rely on EastWest, and grab Hollywood Orchestral Percussion Diamond!

Multiple articulations and five mixable mic positions
Recorded in EastWest's famous Studio 1 (the birthplace of major Hollywood soundtracks and TV themes) by Grammy and Academy Award-winning scoring engineer Shawn Murphy, the 24-bit samples of EastWest Hollywood Percussion Diamond Edition are pristine and gloriously detailed, and the collection gives you unprecedented control over the expressiveness and sound of the instruments with up to five mixable mic positions and multiple articulations. Articulations include left-handed and right-handed hits using an array of mallets, and strikes on different parts of the instrument, such as edge shots, rim shots, and center shots. You'll also find a variety of performance techniques, such as flams and rolls.

Includes the custom PLAY interface
The EastWest Hollywood Percussion includes the custom PLAY advanced sample engine, designed to give you deep access to the sounds within. This 64-bit interface (with 32-bit support) lets you load multiple instruments, so you can easily craft custom split and layered setups that make it effortless to perform with multiple instruments and entire instrument sections. It also allows you to go really deep with your sounds, such as adjusting envelopes and the addition of various sample reproduction tools for tweaking your instruments to perfection.

Holy grail orchestral samples
For composers at Sweetwater, EastWest's Hollywood Orchestra series is truly a "desert-island" orchestral library, packed with holy grail samples that put the sound of Hollywood blockbusters right at your fingertips. The collection and its sections, which are available separately, have received critical acclaim from the music press, including Electronic Musician's Editor's Choice Award and Future Music's Platinum Award. These publications, and others, cite the samples' stunning detail, superior true legato, and overall sonic quality, as well as the amazing control you get with five mic positions, including the main Decca tree; mid, close, and surround mic arrays, as well as an alternate vintage 1945 RCA ribbon room mic. Bottom line, the Hollywood Orchestra series is a must-have compositional tool for the serious composer.

According to East West Website: "Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition is the culmination of over a decade of recording and programming and is the industry standard for achieving professional sounding orchestral soundtracks. And now it includes over 130 GBs in brand new recordings, reimagined original content, powerful new features housed in our revolutionary OPUS engine, and Hollywood Orchestrator, a must-have tool for composers who want to create a blockbuster soundtrack in seconds.".

130 GB of new content is not just some little updates, is a huge amount of new files, not available in the Play releases. Time will tell but I seriously don't see the point of releasing old stuff and an old player when it was pretty simple to release Opus engine player and the updated libraries. The Gong would have been over already. Anyway, time will tell. Also the East West Spaces 2 R2R released is an older version, on Composer Cloud there is a new one, but i doubt we will ever see it here.

I managed all from RD ok. So try again.

I had the same problem but you just have to take some from Katfile/RG and mix and match the downloads. I first tried a bulk download of the lot but gave me 15ish errors.
I just wrote them down and singularly added the error ones and they then downloaded perfectly. It's a bit of a pain in the arse but it worked for me.
Good luck

@Malky:

Perhaps should you try a download manager (or another one if you already have one)?

For example, on Firefox, you have DownZemAll / DownRightNow (Down Right Now is an FF extension linked to an open source winx64 app, DownZemAll, to overcome the limitations of the FF 'web extensions' format).

For Firefox, Chrome and Opera, you also have DownThemAll (which is more limited than the first one, but these limitations only concerns advanced users)

There is many extensions like these, they all have a serious advantage on the browser internal DL manager: they all control the DL integrity (less DL errors) and report immediately if there is any problem, so that you can restart the DL, or try another one without wasting your time.

And of course, there is the traditional ability to divide DL in many threads, so most of the time you can DL faster than with your internal browser DL handler.

(Exception: Rapidgator only support 2 threads max by file (you can try more, but there's risks it blocks or slowdown your next DLs, the rule being: more files you DL, more you risk to have problems like interruptions or slowdowns.

So as a rule (for Rapidgator only): make sure to not overcome this limitation of 2 parallel DL threads for one file, and if possible to not DL more than two files at the same time).
I'm alive!!! :D Isn't it astounding??? ;)

I've got Internet Download Manager and it has a chrome plugin which works great.
Just seems to be a Real Debrid problem with large downloads as with the Choirs escapade!
Used Linksnappy for that but wasn't prepared to do that again as they're quite pricey

I've been told that also Alldebrid works well with both RG And Katfile

Sorry to say that bro, but no, they don't work well with Alldebrid (or any other debrid)

But Only those who try to DL BIG uploads (>20 GO) very often since a while can really understand what I mean... These two hosts are very limited, KF being the worst of the worsts (try to DL >20 KF links with any debrider you know... you'll see).

For RG, as said in my other comment, there is a clear limit: 2 files at the same time, and no more than 2 threads by file. The speed I measured is always limited to 50% of your bandwidth ( big max).

If you try to overcome the limit of 2 files / 2 threads, problems starts to appear with the next files (not the one you DL right now): big slowdowns, interruptions, or simply failures. There is a clear wall which never changed since a while.

So, if I understand, the problem with RG is that it is much slower using Alldebrid.
But it works.
I also want a Ferrari for 1000 euros, @Me 2 ...

Seriously, we cant have everything sorted exactly like everyone want them to be... sorry

Thank you. I'll look at those. I am 500 MB per sec on superfast fibre so enjoy very fast downloads but hate getting corrupt headers from RD. I'll certainly see if these downloaders can improve things.

It's exactly at this moment that I think we would need 'Lite' versions of EW libs too...

I dunno if it's possible to edit PLAY libraries (perhaps must you have a registered version of OPUS for that? Are they all encrypted?), but It could be wonderful for those (including me) who can't dload enormous (~70 Go or more) libraries like this one...

Exactly which libraries belong to the Hollywood Orchestrator, and what is their size?
  Resident 29.08.2015 513

Everything is indicated on the publisher page "What's All Included?"
Don't forget, here the shares are for the PLAY engine (Old player)

"Size?" Very big size, sometimes too big size... so thank NI Kontakt for the alternative style-banks

Does anyone have a tally on how much hard drive space you would need for every released EastWest plugin so far? :D :) ;)

It's so interesting because the FAQ says that it requires "R2R Play/Opus"..so there's the implication that there's a cracked version of Opus. So why release the older Play version of these libraries? why release the Play sampler at all? I'm curious if Decibel can chime in to explain.

Indeed. Maybe just as a "teaser"
