I am a registered console 1 owner and i cannot get the strips to show up.. i totally uninstalled my console 1 and detached it from my ilok/gobbler accounts.. when i open console 1 there are lots of available options for EQ/Comp/etc but only the ssl 4000 shows up for the strips.. im so glad these strips were released though since i was gonna splurge the $300 for the SSL 9000 this weekend.. they say patience is a virtue lol

UPDATE: after rebooting my pc a couple more times i now have all the expansions working with my console 1 except the Summit Audio expansion.. WOOT!!

Hello, first of all thanks for sharing!
Excuse my ignorance, I see many people euphoric with these plugins, and I wanted to ask personally how this software would help me in my recordings? Can it be used without the necessary hardware? The videos that I have seen, only show the plugin with their respective controllers, is it that I am the only one who does not have the hardware? Thank you very much in advance, and a little help is appreciated :)

cant find the vst of ssl xl does it even install? or is it inside the console 1?

it does indeed work.. if you don't see it, try reinstalling it and restarting your pc.. i had to do that with the 9000XL and the Summit Audio strips... took a few re-installs/restarts to get them both to show up in my hardware..
