Steinberg BackBone v1.0-V.R

This work with legit Cubase?

Working in Cubase Pro 10.5 (legit)

almost useless... just a sampler layering engine, go to battery instead.
1st time it doesn't work, but re download the latest elicenser installer and re install that then apply the 'medicine' it works, with legit products.

Where is all the Steinberg stuff at now? I have a legit Cubase Pro 10.5 and avoiding all the releases in case it messes up my legit version or blacklists my eLicenser etc.

Is it anywhere near a point where I could sell my legit version and install the VR version to reliably use and try out all of the other Steinberg software?

This reminds me of D16 punchbox...interesting stuff for me.

Hm, it doesnt work for me.
I applied the fake license bundle and everything looks ok in the elicenser.
When i try to start Backbone in Ableton, it says that not valid license can be detected and then my Ableton crashes.

works for me 1st install on S1 4.6 ..

did exactly what the instruction said.

pretty cool plugin if it keeps working.

It works but in 5-10 min when i change presets Its freezing Cubase.

dont understand why some elicenser software get cracked some not

I've got no backbone to download this drum thing, no backbone at all.

they need money, so they develop a shitty sampler instead of improving on their integrated sampler. they tried to emulate ableton live's sampler but failed.
who's making these decisions?

How's this thing compare to Punchbox or Kick 2???

it's a bit strange but in Cubase, Backbone's GUI stays black. I've got the upper section where i can choose the preset, the sounds are loaded, i can hear/use them with my keyboard. but the lower section with buttons, etc... is black... any help ? or it is a shitty tool ?

Ok. This works for me in combi with legit Steinberg products. I do unplug my dongle when installing. B18 apparently included in the files. I find it interesting and immediately got some useful things out of it

Found the clean install solution way...Win10 x64 + Steinberg legit dongle:

1 - install Babkbone (setup.exe)
2 - Once Backbone installed --> find and install the "Steinberg Absolute 4 Collection + fake Soft-eLicenser bundle b17-V.R"
3 - You will be asked to choose the version to install 6.11.x or 6.12.x ////
--> With the 6.11.x i did messup up my legit install
--> With the 6.12.x it works like a charm...flawless, all licenses are there.
4 - Once inside elicenser software verify all the licenses (soft licenses + dongle licenses if you have one). If the Cubase license is not there click on the "maintenance" button and it should fix everything (in my case i had to do it to get my Cubase pro dongle license to work again)
