Finally i made it, it's working perfectly well but it is a bit tricky.

For those who have problem with licence :

- Follow the ElusiveSoul comment for placing folder
- I disabled windows defender too this time but I don't think it changed something
- Tricky part : after fresh install the "rc-20 retro color logs" folder is not yet on your documents (at least for me), i think it appears once you have ran the keygen one time, BUT if you run it with the default ID it then doesn't seem to work if you go looking for the logs after that
- So : install, run the keygen with default ID, uninstall keeping your "rc-20 retro color logs" folder in documents
- reInstall, run the keygen using the computerID in the logs folder
- Worked for me, i hope it will for you too!

Hi guys.
Im new here. First download that im tryin.
Only gettin an ISO file on the zipped package.
Did i miss something? Couldn't find instructions anywhere

Hey nicolino, welcome to the forums. There's no instructions because this is considered too basic to really require them. An ISO is just a disc image and you should be able to load it as a drive by double-clicking it. Then you simply select the drive and run the setup file. Or you can extract the files in the ISO by right-clicking and using the WinRAR options to extract to a folder.

Thanks Catalyst, and sorry for the dumb question.
But must be something with my pc then... been trying and searching for how to open an ISO file since i read you reply 2 hours ago because my machine just won't do it.
It says "you need to start extraction from a previous volume to unpack"
I can't be that newbie, hahaha must be something wrong with my shit i guess =(

No worries, it's not a dumb question, you're just having issues with getting it working. I'd want to know how to get it running too if I were in your shoes. I don't know what version of Windows you're running but Windows 10 allows you to mount ISO files in virtual drives. Also, what gives you that error? When you try to extract using WinRAR? If I have a little extra time later today, I'll extract it for you and drop you the contents.

I'm on windows 10. The error appears either when i try to extract from the downloaded compressed file or when i try to open the ISO inside the compressed file. I'm guessing it could be something wrong with my DVD Drive maybe?
I looked on it and windows says it is working fine, but the Driver is outdated as hell, 2006. lmao
What is confusing me is the message that i need to extract from a previous volume, so i think maybe the problem is with my winRAR config too.
Gonna look up on ISO today again, i gotta learn this thing.

edit: this is the previous volume it says is missing:

It's my pleasure. People didn't give up on me either, I'm just paying it forward. Before I begin, I'd like to point you to AudioSex which is the companion forum to AudioZ. Great place, lots of cool people, tons of great information AND a real-time chat platform. Make an account if you haven't already, you won't regret it.

Okay let's take this from the top just to make sure you didn't make any mistakes further up the chain. You have the rar file that you downloaded from here. Right-click on it and select Winrar then extract to + "name of release". If it asks you to overwrite everything say Yes to all. Now go into the folder that you extracted and the one inside of it until you reach the folder where you see r2r-9094.rar and a bunch of other files with extensions .r00, .r01, etc. Right-click on the .rar file and again select WinRAR and extract to r2r-9094. Now go into the folder you just extracted and double-click on the iso file. Tell me if you get an error. It should just mount the ISO. If it doesn't, you can try right-clicking the iso and selecting Mount. It doesn't use your drives, it creates something called a virtual drive which is just what the name implies, a drive that isn't real but that your computer thinks is.

Oh, i haven't looked onto AudioSex, gonna sign in there for sure.

I tried the extract to "release name" feature, it gave me the same error.
I can't even get the ISO file out of the winRAR file.

Great, you'll love it. I'm thinking that perhaps you somehow removed something from the rar file (like .r00 for example). What I would do is download it again. I made you a special version that doesn't need to be extracted twice. It should simplify things. Once you get it, don't start the WinRAR program itself. Just open File Explorer (press Windows key + E), navigate to the place you downloaded the file (probably My Documents > Downloads), right-click the rar and select Extract to "XLN.Audio.RC-20.Retro.Color.v1.1.1.2...". You should now have a folder with an iso, the setup.exe and the R2R folder. Simply double-click the iso file. If you still continue to have problems, I might offer to connect to you via TeamViewer, if you have that installed. I can remotely connect and do it for you while you watch.

Thats so nice bro, thank you. I tried again and it didn't work too. I got a warning saying "no archives found"

I think i understood while searching thru past releases.
Should i uninstall XLN things before doing it?
Cause addictive keys came with my interface. I just remembered they from the same company. I am a lil dumb afterwhile hahaha, almost bustin myself. Their truncated installation process must be goin crazy here. OMG.
If this is probably the solution, will i be able to reinstall them keys later after installing this release, or it will conflict?
Hope i'm gettin on track here, sorry for wasting a bit of your time if this is the simple solution. really sorry!

You're welcome. It's not related to other XLN software so that shouldn't be at conflict. Sadly, I think that there may be greater issues at play on your system than not being able to extract a rar. Either there is corruption on your hard drive or WinRAR has gotten corrupted because it should definitely be able to open this. Would you happen to know what version of WinRAR you're running? We can proceed in a few different ways. I can compress everything in a zip file which Windows natively opens and then you should be able to extract with no problem but that would only be a band aid because you'd just be faced with the same issue next time you try to extract a rar. Or I can walk you through an uninstallation and reinstallation of WinRAR or connect to your computer and get to the bottom of it via TeamViewer. Let me know how you'd like to proceed. To keep the thread on topic, I've moved this conversation to the messaging system.

But i just reinstalled winRAR as you said it could be the problem and it worked fine now.

Windows Defender detected "Trojan:Script/Phonzy.A!ml" when opening up the Keygen. Is this a false positive? Some searches on the web (virustotal) indicate a cryptominer..
