Tbh core 2 quad was released back in 2007 i think , And id argue that even if alot of plugs install correctly, many wont, esspecialy those dependant on open sl 2.0 3.0 and higher, and surely would be dog slow compared to even a 2nd gen intel 17, "which many still dont have support for open sl ...

Just my opinion and i mean no disrespect but id defo consider an upgrade to a desktop not too old...

if youve the previous V.R fx bundle, then first uninstall that release prior to installing this one , because it causes the compressor line up to have a horrid red Gui, and the advanced control windows wont work on all of the comps..

For me on win 10 pro , on a 6th gen i7 skylake processor ,they work flawlessley, and the new delay alone is a good enuff reason to delete the old V.R bundle and d,l n install the new release, because its just awsome and certainley better than any rival hybrid hardware modelled delay ive used so far. Plus has alot of neat trix,and great sound quality too..... better than d16 repeater,Tekturon , or Hy delay series \fab filter set, etc etc
Better than evrything ive tried Tbh, even better than various roland hardware emulations n the nembrini 3000 which itself is Damn Damn good!!!
The reverbs are excellent too with those drawable /assignable envelopes..
For me theyre an excellent sound designers set of goto plugs..

Btw, i too have the arturia synth bundle, but theyre installed to a custom named set of vst folders i use for synthesiaerz only...
So if you do end up installing this,then do not install them into the same folder as your arturia synths....

My r2r synhesizers run fine alongside this vr bundle.
Sorry for rammbling but you should undoughtedly install this update!!
Just dont install to the same location as your r2r synth bundle either..

What windows version are you using and what pc are you running.
It may well hag on install , but for 40 seconds or so
