i recommend the documentary "carmine street guitars" - this dude has been for years building amazing looking guitars in nyc from old nyc wood.

(and yes to who who asked earlier in the thread, I have had Amplitude 2/3/4 running on my machine, as I have many projects over the years that relied on older versions, and haven't had a problem.....)

I got rid of 2/Jimi Hendrix/Fender/Metal/Ampeg because they stopped working with my OS. If you love all the stuff from Amplitube 2 (like I do), you can import all the presets into v3 (and only v3) and then run them in v4 ... and the other plugs' presets are still included with v4 MAX, so they're already set up.

I've tried everything, but it won't work, all the amps are not unlocked, i never had this before so I uninstalled and reinstalled the older version that worked fine, now that won't work, what I have done wrong?

Cannot tell anyone else what is wrong. All work fine for me. May, Dimebag, etc. Minimal latency. 3mhz Duocore. 8gig ram. M-Audio 24/96. Reaper x64. I haven't gone through every single amp, but every one I've tried has been AOK. Bless you, R2R!

There is a clickable "#" at the left of record button. It seems that nothing happens or change when I click on it...it is not new, it was also on previous version and it is not visible in the manual. Any idea ?

I was most interested in trying this version of Amplitube because of the Brian May presets, but soundwise in my personal opinion the "Royal Queen" preset dual mode using Positive Grid BIAS FX2 is 100% closer to May's guitar sound than Amplitube's. This is just my personal opinion others may have their own opinions on this.

I did a clean install of this on a machine that has not had any version of Amplitude yet its shows as V4.32, not V4.90 - is this correct ?

Amplitube IRs suck. If you want to get a good tone, use Ownhammer IRs in external NADIR IR loader, with speaker resonance all the way up. I still think Amplitube needs a lot of EQing to get a good tone from

on mac - i've been installing previous versions and i always get the same problem, as soon as i upload authorization file it crashes. can anyone help?

This seems not to be working in Catalina. It says "The package is trying to install content to the system volume. " Does anyone know a workaround?

EDIT: I managed to install by installing the pkg file to my external hard drive and then manually moving them to my actual hard drive. Very ugly workaround, but got the job done. If someone knows a better way, please share!
