Can someone help me.? I ran the keygen and generated the key, it says keygen generated to the desktop , but i don't see anything in my desktop. by the way, Im using Mac mojave

I don't know why I see so much negativity. I don't know if it sounds like the real thing or if it even sounds anything like any other emulation. All I know is I tried it my self and it sounded pretty good. And that really all that matters to me. It's a pretty good sounding compressor. Just another flavor to add to my arsenal. Thank You Funtime...

I tried it out on a vocal to a song, and let me tell you Sisters and Brothers, this is one helluva compressor. The vocal chain was: Gefell UMT70S > Warm Audio Tone Beast > Warm Audio WA76 > Overloud Gem Comp 670 > Aqua Tan EQ (free). Super smooth with a lively, dynamic feel and not squashed sounding. It left the vocal vibrant and alive but controlled. I gotta buy this thing cause I sure as hell can't afford a Fairchild...but maybe the new Stam, he makes KILLER hardware... http://stamaudio.com/sa670.html

meh. after testing it out last night on drums and some other instruments i realized that i wont be using it much. i learned that tube compressors add a tone and "warmness" to the sounds. i prefer a clean sounding compressor like the overloud comp g compressor. its clean doesnt alter the sound especially drums. this has a gorgeous gui but it changes the timbre and tone of sounds too much. even just by turning it on without no compression. gives drums that analogue look where sounds are not centered. dont like that look on drums. i like my drums to look straight and unaltered. maybe this is best for vocals and guitars.

I have the original hardware 660 and 670 pieces - and this plugin gives the UAD plugin/dongle a run for the money. Those who have the original hardware will know what I am talking about.

Coloration of sound is part of the 670 hardware mojo. Overloud did a very good job in that regard. This will be on my buy list for sure.

Overloud is a weird company its a hit and miss with their plugins. I think Slate plugins are overall better, just my two cents.

I've never been negative to another member on AudioZ for all the years I've been here... but I have to call a little BS on this statement. You say you own both the hardware Fairchild 660 and 670?!? You do realize that is about $70-$100,000 worth of compressors that are very hard to find, much less afford? But you bring up the UA versions as your direct comparisons, not your actual pair of real Fairchilds?

And you talk to us like there are others here who ALSO have the hardware, and will know what you mean, man. That's living large... but yet you're also downloading warez on AudioZ?

Maybe I misunderstood your post... but there is honor among thieves here on AudioZ, and I'd like to think we try to keep the community tight and the BS to a minimum. And if you really own a Fairchild(s, plural, no less) and are still downloading software here, it must be because you're broke from over-paying for an elite, vintage compressor you can't afford.

Whatever... it's all good. Rainbows and Unicorns, music people.
