Spectrasonics has announced the release of Omnisphere 2.5, a major update of its flagship software synthesizer instrument.

With this previously announced new version, Omnisphere becomes the first software synth in the world to offer a ground-breaking Hardware Synth Integration feature which makes using Omnisphere feel just like using a hardware synth. It transforms over 30 well-known hardware synthesizers into extensive hands-on controllers that unlock Omnisphere’s newly expanded synthesis capabilities.

The extensive new free update also features a newly announced hi-resolution interface, support for Windows Multitouch, new Granular Synthesis capabilities and a stunning new sound library of over 1000 brand new sounds, bringing the total number of included sounds to over 14,000.

Working fine in Windows 7 SP1 running Presonus Studio One 4.0.1 x64, using R2R's 2048 Keygen.
Note:

In order to get the keygen to work, I had to create a copy of the Omnisphere.dll to my desktop and then patch it there, otherwise I would get a "The file is write protected" error while trying to patch it in my VSTs folder (in Program Files).

After generating the keygen and inputing it, I closed my DAW, swapped the unpatched Omnisphere.dll in my VSTs folder, with the patched Omnisphere.dll from my desktop, reopened my DAW, and boom, Omnisphere 2.5.0d 64 bit successfully installed.

Important:

Once you've patched and keygen'd your Omnisphere.dll, make sure you copy it, and replace the one in the location C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\plug-ins\64bit, with the patched one. Or you can just patch and keygen it manually.

If you try opening the unpatched standalone one in the programdata folder without patching it and keygen'ing first, it will de-authorize the one in your VSTplugins folder and you'll have to keygen it again.

Oh yeah, one more thing:

After you patch and keygen Omnisphere, you'll be told to restart your DAW in order to effectuate the authorization. When closing your DAW at this point, it may crash. Don't worry, this is normal. Just open it back up, and Omnisphere should be authorized. This also happened the first time I installed it.

OMG!! This happened to me while trying to install something else about a month or two ago. It was either Breverb or MDrummer I believe. This happened even though I opened the keygen as administrator. Thanks so much for this tip. Among my circle, I'm usually the one who thinks of workarounds or fixes but in this case, I just assumed that the new updated version was using a different algorhythm or numbering scheme or something and I was content to wait for one of the teams to make a new keygen. But I'm pretty sure that THIS is the problem so I gotta go find which one it was. HaHa!! Thanks again!!!

I'm using FL 20 and when I close the application it tells me fl studio couldnt respond. it works fine but when i close it it gives me that notice.

I have Omnisphere 2.3.1 installed and working perfectly for over a year. Can I install 2.5.0 without the intermitent updates and what keygen did anyone use for the updates above 2.3.1 on a mac?

You only need to install the latest update(s).

As far as your mac question, I don't use mac. But I think people have said that they ran R2R's 2048 Keygen inside a virtual windows application, on mac.
