Spectrasonics Omnisphere Software Update 2.5.0d WiN OSX screenshot
Audioz | August 29 2018 | WiN 37 MB | OSX 73 MB
Spectrasonics has announced the release of Omnisphere 2.5, a major update of its flagship software synthesizer instrument.

With this previously announced new version, Omnisphere becomes the first software synth in the world to offer a ground-breaking Hardware Synth Integration feature which makes using Omnisphere feel just like using a hardware synth. It transforms over 30 well-known hardware synthesizers into extensive hands-on controllers that unlock Omnisphere’s newly expanded synthesis capabilities.

The extensive new free update also features a newly announced hi-resolution interface, support for Windows Multitouch, new Granular Synthesis capabilities and a stunning new sound library of over 1000 brand new sounds, bringing the total number of included sounds to over 14,000.

“Since the beginning of computer-based music, the biggest limitation of software synthesizers has been the lack of physical interaction. It’s hard to beat the immediacy of a physical synthesizer that you can touch! We are very excited to be able to finally eliminate that problem by utilizing the world’s finest hardware synthesizers to fully control Omnisphere.” said Eric Persing, President of Spectrasonics.

“We’ve never felt that the worlds of software and hardware synths should be divided into different ‘camps’. Our virtual instrument users can now experience the joy of the hardware synth workflow and hardware synth users can now fully expand their capabilities into the vast sonic world of Omnisphere!”

Omnisphere 2.5, Moog Library and Trilian
Installation That Worked For Me:
0. Start with Omnisphere 2.0
1. Perform all standard installs (virtually mounted DVD using UltraISO). Don't worry about 'Interval updates'. You only need the newest on hand.
2. Perform all NEWEST updates. Software, Library and Patches.
3. Follow R2R keygen instuctions for patching and authorizations. Patch the .DLLs where your standard install was performed! PATCH THEM FIRST! Wait to authorize later.
4. Copy the appropriate .DLLs (32 and 64bit) you patched to their other homes: C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\plugins
and
C:\programdata\spectrasonics\plugins\64bit
5. Run the standalone or an instance in your DAW to authorize using R2R keygen instructions.

Be careful to re-patch/copy after any future updates to software.
FOLLOW R2R instructions exactly when you use it! They don't mention the copy part in their info...
This worked for me. Hope it helps.

For some weird reason, I got it to work on FL 11 perfectly, but when I open in on a different daw, like FL 20, it says that Im back on Software version 2.4.2c. Which is odd because they're both instances of the same omnisphere.dll file. Anyone know how to fix this?

That's a reinstall situation. you must have skipped the step of copying the patched VST dll's to their brother directories under c:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics and ...\plugins directories. This step is not mentioned in the included instructions, I think. Or you can patch them all in the install, not just the two mentioned.

Gave me fits, so I started over and did this. Viola, it then worked fine... Win7-64
