Bitwig Studio 2 comes fully loaded with powerful new features and updates, here's a quick overview:

yep, just wanted to check in and thank you - it worked. i thought it wasn't mandatory to block the adresses in the host file, but it worked, no more bleeps. i also used revo uninstaller and cleaned it completely. don't forget to not install the extra packs when it asks, and to close the windows firewall prompt, if it asks to allow bitwig to connect.

i was able to restore my old project just by dragging over the channels to the new project - in a matter of seconds. this is the best DAW i have seen to date, it only lacks a good warping machine but aside from that, it is structured very good, creates a massive overview which makes it somehow easier to finish your track and build it out, because you just can't get lost in fiddling around that much.

don't even need to buy a new PC anymore, as bitwig is just fast as F**k

looks like we have limited saves... after a few saves the project start to BEEP loud BEEPS

the project become damaged but if you open another new project its ok...

Nope, not working for me. Mac, El Capitan 10.11.16. Double click, startup screen appears for about 10 seconds, then disappears and the program didn't even start. Tried it multiple times, same result.

To the trash can it goes.

Followed instructions to replace Bitwig.jar in High Sierra 10.13.2. Was able to download all content but the program is still in demo mode.

When I first tired this it worked but now it isn't . The splash screen comes up for 10 seconds or so and then it just quits, as others have found.

Damn, I can't wait to get the fuck out of Ableton.

I got this to work on Mac like this: I deleted everything Bitwig related and re-installed. Then I went offline, removed all rules blocking Bitwig in my firewall (Hands Off) then launched Bitwig and it works! I allowed connections when the firewall prompted me while remaining offline.

I haven't tried downloading the packages as I have enough samples already... is there anything other than samples in the "essentials" package?

My workaround for the beep timebomb:
As soon as beeps arises:
-go to folder where your projects are saved
- rename the project you were working on (folder and project file)
- from Bitwig open your renamed project

It should work for many saves (more than 90 now and still going)
( I almost forgot: do not install factory content at all )

Hope this trick will help some Bitwig lovers.
