I wished AudioUTOPIAs installers would ask where to install the presets, documents etc.
It spams my Systemfolder C, where is only my Windows. And i hate to create symbolic links for every application that they release.

Do really really lke this eq.. and lets be honest "theres so many unnecessary releases by vst companies themselves that doesnt come close to what their claiming their products are capable of doing" its nice to see one that does exactly as it says on the tin!! Pro-Q 2 sounds cleaner, and it's cuts more surgical. AirEQ sounds like a clean analog EQ, and it isn't nearly as surgical. If I had to pick one, it would be Pro-Q 2. Owning both, Pro-Q is better for cuts, by a notable amount in most cases. AirEQ boosts can be very musical. Especially the shelves.

If anything directly compares to the peaks in AirEQ, it's the "FlatTop" peak option in DMG Audio EQuilibrium. In EQuilibrium, you can use essentially every kind of peak there is, and for every "FlatTop" peak, you have a separate soften option that works just like the character fader in AirEQ. So, you can have multiple "water" peaks and multiple "fire" peak at the same time, as well as "neutral" and anything in between.

THANK YOU R4pToR for the information! Much appreciated indeed :D! Love the comparisons. So I guess for the initial cleaning, cutting, shaping, etc. individual tracks it would probably be better to apply Pro-Q 2 and for group/mixbus/mastering AirEQ would be more appropriate for adding color and texture to the over all high and low end areas (something I often tend to do using EQuilibrium particularly that Butterworth/Pultec option :D)

Plus, i have detected this in two different systems, both Win7 x64:
. VST3 x64 not working (tested with Audition CC2015 and Nuendo 7)

VST3 x86 works.
VST2 x64 works.

Maybe this bug is fixed in most recent version.

It's working here using vst2 x64 version : Reaper 5.23 X64 win7x64.
Please give details of how it crashes so I reproduce it.

When I try to ad AirEQ on a track I get an error saying: "Reaper has stopped working" and it closes. Same for vst3 and vst3 and x64 and x86. Since I never had problems with AudioUTOPiA stuff I'm guessing its my graphics card which is really bad. Could that be it?

I dont know if it's because of your graphic card, but it could be different result because we are using different Reaper version.
I'll update Reaper to verify that.
