It's pretty much like any other amp emulator on the market, tech is the same and sonics in general too (despite the loud market promises copied to the post). No one is using something different as far as I know, starting from the mammonth old NI Gutar Rig and even older plugins.

The price is in the same range as competitors, even quite a competitive (40$ atm), so I say ignore this bla-bla-bla, better to pay attention at the price tag. It's fairly priced and offers some minor diversity comparing to others, thus it's ok plugin.

My advice for using it is the same as for similar plugins, use the maximum sample rate possible, minumum gain possible, light distortion is less "digital" than heavy. For the best results avoid built-in realtime cab emu, use Voxengo Pristine Space or Sony Acoustic Mirror with some good cab impulses or even Nebula.

Every built-in cab emu on the market is tuned for realtime, not the best quality, non-realtime cab convolution like above will give more for every amp emu.

Please note I said "less digital" not "more analog". No amp emu currently matches analog distortion. Better settings will result less unpleasant digital artifacts, not bring it closer to analog.

I'll only add one. There's a killer collection of IRs made for this amp sim. Search BestPlugins in YT. They're mainly song tone matching ones.
