Mutiband crossover is not linear phase thus introduces some phase artifacts like every non linear phase mutiband plugin.

I'd prefered a single band transient shaper plugin to mutiband for these reasons.

I don't know any, every plugin I've tried was minimum phase.
Anyone can do linear phase multiband processing manually with linear phase EQ and single (full-band) transient shaper or any different plugin.

You don't need a multiband plugin for multiband processing at all.

Personally I think this is not the best transient shaper (plus multiband artifacts), but I don't like them generally, even 10k$ expensive hyped analog ones. They're all sounds so unnatural, not like a part of the sound.

I prefer to use normal compression or manual envelope shaping with audio editor in difficult cases instead of transient shapers. More organic sounding results guaranteed.

BTW I'm surprised to see so many downloads on not the best plugin. Some of my earlier releases deserves better attention than this.
