Poise comes with an exclusive set of 30 drum kits created by TeamDNR.

The drum kits have been designed to provide a variety of bread and butter 'go to' drum sounds. Also included is 200 individual cells which contain effect and modulation configurations. This allows individual drum hits to be easily mixed and matched for custom drum kit creation.

This one takes me back (not that far back but still) I remember using this when I had an Akai MPD 18. Great program... definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something of a MPC feel (as far as working with the samples.. layering, etc). I left my MPD 18 in a taxi cab one night and instead of looking back I moved up to MASCHINE.. as far as my story goes I'm glad I lost the MPD18 that night otherwise I'd be still using the MPD18 and poise but with that being said... the poise is a great tool to have in your arsenal and If I wasn't currently using MASCHINE as my dedicated goto... I'd probably be still using poise. (I must admit it was a pain in the ass using it with FL STUDIO... workflow wise but results were always great)

Haha, I am still using my MPD18 and yes, you're right, Poise *was a sonuvabitch to use in FL Studio!! (I remember when the MPD18 came out, I was in... High School, I think. I didn't get one until some years later. I was/am too broke for a MPC.) Thankfully I am in Studio One now and I have a dedicated template just for Poise that works smooth as Hell. Between Poise (which I have been using for years,) and Impact (Studio One's 16 pad,) I am actually pretty content with my MPD18. It's simple as all fuck-out, but it really is kind of nice not having too much stuff to distract you. Between Poise, Regroover and Impact, I'm cool with The Old School hardware.... though I still really want a MPC 2000XL.... or an Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard... or both.
