The installer you downloaded comes with three folders:
Mac
STEAM
Windows
• OSX users: Open the Mac folder to find the installer .pkg to run.
• PC users: Open the Windows folder to find the installer .exe to run.
Please run the installer directly from within the folder and do not change the
folder hierarchy. The installers rely on the folder hierarchy presented in the
download to function properly. It is not necessary to open the STEAM folder.

Thanks man! I'm looking around for a more detailed changelog. If I find one I'll post it in place of this comment. Mostly I'm hoping that 'bug fixes' means they fixed the problem with Omnisphere losing patches within DAW projects. At any rate I guess I'll find out after I install

Edit: The rar has a readme file included. All it says is...
'Fix for factory rated patches'

Which is the same thing as the previous update. Sigh, maybe next time. Funny thought, Intrinsic's description was more detailed than Spectrasonics.

That is an annoying bug, right there. And it would be nice if the fix it soon. It's been a bit of a pain on my end. Lol.

A usable workaround would be to simply save the multi and reload it if it doesn't automatically load with your project (sometimes it does - and once it does that particular project usually remains okay). This has failed me once, as an entire multi reverted to an initialization patch, but since it's only happened once I can't be positive it wasn't some sort of unfortunate user error.
Edit: yes I can. It just fooking happened to me again

You probably saw already, but Cat pointed out on AS that there's a 'projects' feature that allows you to create a project within Omnisphere and add whatever patches were used in a song so that you can quickly recover them

Finally, I always save any patch that's been modified at all. Between projects and saved patches, if Omnisphere loses my multi I can always reconstruct it in under a minute.

But yeah. It's a gigantic pain in the ass. Whenever I make significant changes I have to resave everything in three different places.

yeah, thanks Intrinsic! I haven't performed the software update on 2 yet that you kindly provided a week or so ago due to the preset problem etc.., seemed to create more headaches then it solved, (this of course was not YOUR fault, but that of Spectrasonics :)).... I have the initial 2.0 working for the most part ok, a little inconsistent when remembering patches, so I save all patches in a session in the DAW as well, and that is far from optimal, especially when it, again is inconsistent, and you are sitting there bouncing from song to song with an artist and you have to solo each of your Omni patches to see if they are correct, rather then a null load or an init patch or something... not sure if others are having the same problems... or if this in conjunction with your last release solves it...

Issue of multi not loading still remains. Even saved multi's fail to load. Some do some dont. What a crap crack lol!
