Was wondering when others would figure it out. (It's the universal unlocker that R2R posted with T-Racks a few releases ago. Tried it the first day it was available. Also works with the latest T-Racks. You can *bet* they'll change the protection in Amplitube 4.0 now. Good job releaser/uploader.)

Was also hoping that they'd keep it to themselves, but of course hy2ro has to try to take credit for something that isn't his.

I read that they have been working on Amplitube 4 . There are You tube Videos on what they did to the ios version. Official post says PC coming soon.

amplitube 4 for iOS is Amplitube 3 for PC.

There is no word whatsoever for Amplitube 4 for PC, besides that IK said themselve that they don't see the point

I sigh a deep sigh from time to time since I had to sell my Mark IV and 4 x 10's many years ago. I will give this baby a go and see if it can recreate the tone and utter stunning beauty of my former rig. Although my Steinberger with the Trans Trem was destroyed by a close friend (still haven't replaced the trem with that outfit in NYC), my shitty Strat copy will have to give a go this time around. I didn't know this was a H2 release until now. Thanks Intrinsic for the dream.

For now, I'm blown away but hey, I never owned a real Mesa Boogie so I have no real basis for comparison.

Since you owned the original stuff, I'm very curious to hear your input ie, how it compares to the original.

It definitely captures most of the magical sonic elements that define the Boogie Sound, but not all of them. Software/simulation-wise I dare to say it is as close as it can get at the moment. Especially the 5-band EQ on the Mark 4 behaves exactly like the original (try it out, you won't be disappointed ).

The Standalone is exe
With windows firewall you can block files aswell textfiles dll files imagefiles like jpeg nrg etc.
You just have to learn how to use the firewall
But there is a program that make it easyer so dl Firewall Control and install it then click on the black folder with the X on down in the right corner on the GUI and then browse for the exe and the dll files if you are not sure what to block block every file in the IK Multimedia folder and if you have both 32 bit and 64 bit dll of course block both dll files.

there's no need to block a dll. it's just a library file and will always be loaded by another running process (e.g. an .exe file like rundll.exe, vsthost.exe, etc ...). anyway, feel free to add the following code to your registry to obtain right click support for your windows firewall (dll & exe).

create a text file for each code section shown below, insert code, save file, change file extension from ".txt" to ".reg" and execute it.

When there's no standalone, just a plugin, I think you just have to block the DAW or whatever you run the plugin in. BTW have they ever fixed the audio device not found flaw?
