DUNE 2 provides a yet higher sound quality and allows for an even wider range of sounds than Dune 1. New oscillators, new filters, new effects and graphical envelopes are just some of the new additions.

We have updated DUNE 2 to v2.2. This is a major update which introduces support for custom skins, adds new effect programs, sound parameters, workflow improvements and a bunch of new patches. The update is free for all registered users.

New features:

- Support for custom skins
- Two new reverb programs added: Ambience and Gated Room
- New delay type added: Tape Delay
- Chorus gains low and high cut filters
- LFO Offset parameters added
- Plug-in keyboard range can be adjusted (default c2-c6)
- Two sync modes (host | internal) under Settings
- Arpeggiator and MSEGs now have position indicators while playing
- Performance improvements
- Factory bank size increased, now more than 440 patches

Fixes Mac/Win:

- Plugin Modulation wheel no longer jumps to zero on a patch change
- Detune/Spread knobs have not been updating during Mouse Wheel, fixed

Fixes Mac:

- If the Music directory is an alias directory, the serial was not found, fixed
- Preset selection via left/right arrows was broken, fixed
- Editing patch comments did not always work, fixed

This is the installer, apparently this works to update the previous release.

um yes! I designed a Spire Skin - you can see it in the forum but I still didn't finish it because of reasons (lazyness after work and other projects, I always do a bit too much at the same time). When I've finished it, I maybe will port the skin to this awesome instrument.

i'm making pennies off this huh? That's the whole reason to this. That's why there are more mirrors than there is my one link. Again people love to attack the messenger. For gods sake this was available already before I made a post about it. Again no one complained when awake posted but now that this update is here, all hell breaks loose. If it's such a problem contact someone to have them remove it. Were you offended by this post? Was it your installer that you gave to someone and they abused your trust? If so then let's remove the post.

Again I had nothing to do with the retrieval of this installer. It was already posted on the original thread by mono (where he got it from I do not know). So if one is to argue that this post needs to be removed, the other one needs to be removed as well. I bought Dune 2 a while ago so in all honesty there is no need for me to even be involved in this. And also Mykal if your initial thought was that I am making a "couple pennies" off of posting this, then you do not know me at all. I do not think you have been involved in any of my posts up until recently so please do not assume to know me or what my intentions are.

As much as I despise Sunny and his other aliases do not put me in the same boat as him. It always seems when someone is dissatisfied with an uploader or one of their releases it all comes boiling down to "making pennies". Even when 90% of my posts were on mega, how could one even make that a valid argument. But I bet one would say, if it's not for money then it's for ego/fame/popularity etc. I can assure you it's for neither. This is one of the main reasons I stopped posting for a while because all the ignorant assumptions out there. Uploaders get attacked here, leechers get attacked here, no one is safe.

Some of the old software is damn good software btw.
If I wold have the money for buying all the stuff I want, you all would have things like "Pianoteq 5 Pro" now but I don't. The other stuff I allready bought was released in the past so it doesn't make sense anymore to share it.

The best would be an account where everyone could donate ...lets say 5$ to buy the big priced stuff in a group and supply it to some trusted groups.
If it's crackable, the product could be reselled somewhere to get more money for more expensive stuff and if not or maybe not now, it could be released as it is with serial / keyfile / etc.
Maybe this idea is totally crap but i like it kinda.
