I should be very careful with that... Each computer is a closed kingdom. I would first install it, check out how it behaves within your DAW (DAWs), and only then delete Omnisphere 1...

For your information. All the CORE sounds from Omnisphere are included in Omnisphere 2 (pointed this out long time ago). Just keep in mind to get the updates for the expansions, else they won't work in Omnisphere 2. This is basically due the steam engine has smaller changes; improved waveforms, sounds, oscillators, filter patches(in different order) and some changes to the envelop.
This is kind of important if you've Trilian installed. Then you need to download the update for the database and libraries such as; Bass Legends, VIP and XTRA. The same go for Moog Tribute Library, core and the user patches.

First you should see if your computer has the proper specs to run it well

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL USERS

• 2.4 GHz or higher processor
• 4GB RAM minimum, 8GB or more recommended

Mac Users:

I hate sounding stupid! But u will probably be best source of info. I use a mac and when i mounted the disc 1 image the steam folders there fine but no installer just a url link that takes u to omnispheres website. Is there installers elsewhere?

Plenty of space on my SSD, 16Gb RAM and a powerful i7. Anyway... So, I suppose there are libraries on all 8 DVDs? Can't I just download the first one and use it without anything else? It's true that I don't want to compromise 64Gb of space from the first try.

why is the uploading so slow of the other dvds?

the answer is: Dynamics tagged the other 4 dvds wrong - they are tagged as movies discs.
maybe somebody can fix this later.

They're D7 and D8 posted by BuroakenSowend (but it's se same release or not?).

EDITED: informations are added in DVD4 comments (8 DVDs, probably 3 uploaders or more).

Really it's very difficult to understand, some explanations are welcome. For example, what's the number of DVDs? (the NFO tells 63*100 Mo)
