Yes and it opens in old projects because it has the same exact name in the plugins directories as ver 1 and it has all ver 1 patches included.

Thank you so much for this. I've seen a lot of people asking about Trilian and Bob Moog Tribute compatibility - I installed on top of the v1 STEAM folder where both had been previously installed (after backing up!), ran the respective updaters and then refreshed the patch browser on first running Omnisphere 2 and everything works well (Mac OS X/Live). Again, thank you so much everyone who made this release possible.

un rar everything then create a folder named Omnisphere then put all discs contents into it then remove the first omnisphere 1 and put the steam folder on it it just replace the old 1

If you already downloaded this bad rip of DVD1 and the installer will not start copying the new data even if the ISO is mounted, there's no need to download R2R's repack; mount it, open terminal and use hditool to make a new iso that will work just fine, using this command:

hdiutil makehybrid -o ~/Desktop/a.iso /Volumes/Spectrasonics\ Omnisphere -udf -default-volume-name "Spectrasonics Omnisphere"

Wait for this one to complete, close terminal, eject the original ISO and mount the new one on your desktop instead, and the installation will start just fine :)

edit 2: just installed, this plugin is truly a work of art, eric persing at his best... 10.0.3/lpx10.1.1, using dynamics crack, trilian library/moog exp work perfectly, just follow the steps... a big thank you to dynamics/r2r/uploaders/the fellows who upped their own dvd rips first!

edit 3: if you have a big enough ssd, install it there... crucial bx100 250gb here, virtually no loading times

Anybody elese having issues with "Kalimbascope" instruments ins Omni 2.0? Mines dont seem to be working, save but a few :( It seems to be unable to locate certain samples. I believe the Round Robin (RR) patches are unable to be located in omni 2. Anybody have this problem?

found them, all of them work here... did you have any errors pop up on installation? if so, try to repair permissions on your steam folder and apply to enclosed folders and try to install again... had this issue when upgrading from omni v1.5

Installation went smooth. Didnt encounter any errors whatsoever. I will try as u suggested and repair STEAM folder.

just to name a few, under Soundsource Browser:

Arcophonico ^ RR
Blue Nile Baseball Bat ^ RR
Blue Nile Small Stick ^ RR
Brite Marimbula Mallet ^ RR
Clean Fender - Full Range ^ All RR

Basically I typed in ^ RR in Soundsource Browser and most of the patches wont work for me. I will try re-installing hopefully this helps :)

Was your installation as follows:


Install R2R Disk 1, followed by 2-8 from DYNAMICS.
Install Data Updater,
Install Trillian Update & Moog Update,
there were no VST & Component files in the R2R download, so I used DYNAMICS
Disk 1 to replace the broken VST & Component. For me, that seems to be the problem right there. Because if i try to patch the R2R Omnisphere2 with the HEXWARS Keygen, It doest not let me.

Firstly thank you so much to share the file...
Now as a newbie I must confess I am lost(lol)
Ive been trying to download from different links but I gather it does not work out because files are 800Mb and the other one 807Mb( I refer to DVD1 part1). Also, shall I download all the links on the top to crack or all of them is the same file? Can I download it for Win? I dont see a specific file for either Mac or Win? At last, is it compatible with Ableton 9.1.7 LITE? ( got it from the purchase of a scarlett 6i6 AI). Thanks so much....

Can anybody plz help me! Here is my problem: I cant get Omni2 to work w/o having to replace the VST & COMPONENT files. Because once I do, I have issues with Omni2 loading some of the patches/soundsources. But in DEMO mode, everything works fine, and i can't patch Omni2 with the Keygen provided by HEXWARS. any suggestions?

Here was my initial installation process:

I Install Disk 1 using R2R + 7 disks by DYNAMICS. I get no issues whatsoever during installation process. I open Omni2 in Ableton, tells me to authorize, so i open HEXWARS Keygen, etc. etc.... won't let me patch unless i swap out VST & COMPONENT files.

Also I don't very much understand the part where R2R explains in IMPORTANT.pdf file saying to "Authorize the software in user account at spectrasonics.com"?

Everything seems to work so much smoother in DEMO mode. Loading times are much faster, no sounds are missing. It's only when I replace the VST & COMPONENT files is when i notice things are much different. Hopefully somebody can help me to fix this? thanks in advance!

When I run the Installer it ask me "Insert Spectrasonic Omisphere then click OK. Press cancel to terminate the entire installation process". Is this a problem with labels of these DVD? If yes, what should be the label of each DVD?

tx to everyone involved to get this thing for the masses... may i ask if this its really worth it?? i mean, 64 GB for installation seems a lot of space... dont get me wrong, i hear just good things abouty omnisphere, but that size its heavy as hell... as i read, its a synth, but it seems more of a rompler to me, and to be honest, i have a divorce with nexus 2 because of that xD... i mean, right now other synths gave me what nexus use to give me, and even more (ex: dune 2, Diva, Serum, Saurus, Sylenth1, they all gave me even more what nexus offer) so, i want to know before getting the hard crussade of download ALL omnisphere, its really worth it? i wanna read some opinions, please dont say "try it and decide by yourself", because thats what i always do, but to try this i got to download A LOT of info, and i dont have a good internet right now (im using the internet from the company where i work)... please somebody help

It depends on what you want to do, really. I like omnisynth (I bought it at V1 several years ago) and use it as my main tool. I like the sounds and find the programming intuitive. Yes, it's a rompler like many others (in addition to plenty of generated waveforms) but its focus is on programming, modulating and blending sound sources. You could probably do 99% of what it does using other software (Kontakt, for example) but it's the way it's done that I like. As for sounds, given that it uses samples for most of its sounds it can sound like just about anything. However, the focus on cinematic and modified organic sounds for much of the preset programming (and the ease with which I can create or tweak this type of sound) is what attracts me. I wouldn't consider it the best dubstep synth out there, or the best orchestral string sampler. These can indeed be covered, of course. I don't know if you edit video but consider the difference between After Effects and Premiere. You can do much of the same stuff using either app but each is focussed on a different task, compositing and editing respectively. As I like the 'feel' of natural sound sources but without the vanilla sense of straight sampling, omnisphere is the tool for me.
And the other thing I like about omnisphere is it's sound database. I prefer the way it works and find it easy to get to something I consider appropriate for what I'm doing and then I can easily adjust the sound.
It comes down to the philosophy of the people who make the synths and it's horses for courses.

how to patch on mac:
1. Locate the .vst and .component files. I assume you know where they are judging by your post.
2. Right-click the .vst file, then click "Show Package Contents" in the drop-down menu.
3. Your Finder window will now be open to a single folder named “Contents”; click on it, then click on the folder titled “MacOS”. Inside you will find a single file named “Omnisphere”
4. Hold down “alt/option” on your keyboard, then click and drag “Omnisphere” to your desktop. Alternatively, you can right-click it, select “copy” from the menu, right-click on your desktop, then click “paste.” If you’ve done it correctly, a copy of the “Omnisphere” file will now be on your desktop. Leave the Finder window showing the .vst package contents open.
5. Now go to the keygen you have open, click patch, and then, in the browser that appears, find and select the “Omnisphere” file you copied to your desktop. I believe the keygen will inform you if the patch was successful, but I don’t have it open in front of me, so I’m not sure.
6. Once the patching is done, take that same “Omnisphere” file from your desktop, and drag it back into the Finder window you left open (just drag it normally; it doesn’t need to be copied this time). Drop it into the “MacOS” folder with the original “Omnisphere” file and you will get a popup asking if you want to overwrite the original; click yes.
7. Repeat the process with the .component plugin.
8. Finished! From here, you just need to open the plugin in your DAW and finish the process as per the crack instructions.

If you run .exe keygen on mac for ex. with Wine, copy your file to Users/username/Wine Files/drive_c/users/username/Desktop
