A small utility to install easily and quickly all required iLok Emulator files for installed iZotope products. Free (personal development).

Supported iZotope products:

- Alloy 2 v2.03.
- BreakTweaker v1.01.
- Insight v1.03 (single product, or bundled with Ozone 6 Advanced / RX 4 Advanced).
- Iris 2 v2.01.
- Nectar 2 Standard Edition v2.02.
- Nectar 2 Production Suite v2.02.
- Ozone 6 v6.10.
- Ozone 6 Advanced v6.10.
- RX 4 v4.01.
- RX 4 Advanced v4.01.
- RX Loudness Control v1.00.
- Stutter Edit v1.05.
- Trash 2 v2.03.

Very easy to use! after iZotope product(s) installation(s), run "iZotope Emulators Installer.exe"
(you must have administrator privileges). Emulator(s) must be installed are AUTOMATICALLY CHECKED. It can be used once, after several iZotope products installs.
Simply click the "Install" button to install Emulators (for each checked product), that's all!

1.1. Changelog:

- Added Nectar 2 Standard Edition v2.02.
- Added Ozone 6 v6.10 (standard version).
- Cosmetic: "Exit" button changed to "Abort".
- Cosmetic: "Close" button (after install) changed to "Finish".

Setup Factory 9.5.0 (Indigo Rose), it uses LUA implementation for scripting. Useful tool for small installers (for large install, I'm using Inno Setup). Adobe Photoshop (CS6) for metallic background with iZotope logo

To answer, this tools simply installs related "AuthAssistant.exe" (by R2R) at the right places.

When you run "iZotope Emulators Install.exe", many files checks are done (only on "AuthAssistant.exe" files - and using filesize AND CRC32 algos) prior to display main page. If a product is detected but not compatible, this will be displayed below it's checkbox (and the related checkbox is, of course, unchecked and disabled). Mention (NOT SUPPORTED) is also added on the checkbox caption. The main goal is to avoid installation if filesizes/CRC32s don't match. Reliability is my main objective!

For any installed product (and it's R2R Emulator is already installed), it's checkbox is unchecked. However, you can check it to reinstall if you want (but it not necessary). CRC32 are checked for both original and "R2R Emulator" files!

Also you can chain many installs for several iZotope products (without use this tool between each installation), then use this tool once to install all required Emulator files!

About previous/old product lines, such Iris 1, Ozone 5, Nectar 1, RX 2/RX 3 etc, these products are simply ignored by this tool.

I'm working on version 1.1 (will be posted 01 June) to solve two minor(*) issues:

- Adding Nectar 2 v2.02 (Standard Edition) - actually works for Production Suite only.
- Adding Ozone 6 v6.10 (standard version) - actually works for Advanced only.
- Cosmetic: "Exit" button replaced by "Abort" (no change made when you quit).
- Cosmetic: after installation, "Close" button replaced by "Finish".

(*) Many people are using Nectar 2 Production Suite 2.01 and/or Ozone 6 Advanced 6.10 - both are available on AudioZ

Hope this tiny tool will help you for iZotope products

Possible enhancement, but I don't have the solution yet: I'd like to find a reliable way to detect iLok/PACE driver/service implementation on the computer (in order to "adjust" the third message, in the screen displayed after installation). The primary idea is to query the "PACE License Services" service (if running or not), but I don't have any information about this undocumented service.

Unfortunately I can't test RX Loudness Control plugin because the current version (1.0) is designed for Pro Tools only (RTAS for oldest, AAX for PT11).

Unfortunately (again), I don't use/have any PT version, using VST/VST3 hosts only.

However I've checked again the install routine concerning RX Loudness Control: files replacements (originals "AuthAssistant.exe" by R2R Emulator) are correctly done, both to win32 & win64 subfolders (tested yet on Win7 x64 platform).

What about other RTAS/AAX plugin? (assuming you're using Pro Tools, of course). What's Windows version/platform are you using?

Thanx again docam28 for your quick reply, actually nothing wrong with your utility it did what it suppose to do perfectly, I didn't succeed activating the R2R release (which is apparently the only available release for Win so far)

I tried both on Win 7 & Win 8 x64
But no worries, I & we all know that its a matter of time before this release been fixed.

Hi Lao,

Of course, iLok/PACE software MUST be installed first, exactly as indicated by R2R's NFO files...

You must install iLok License Manager FIRST (including the PACE device driver, if asked). When finished, restart Windows. Install it once, then install your iZotope software(s), and finally, run this "iZotope Emulators Installer" (you can run it between each install, or when all installs are finished).

This utility "simply" installs correct "AuthAssistant.exe" file(s) to the right subfolders, that's all. It doesn't install the iLok driver, anyway!
