FXpansion is proud to present Tremor: a software drum machine with powerful synthesis, effects, modulation and step-sequencing. DCAM circuit-modelled sound generation is fused with new ideas to produce original sounds with the punch and extreme sound pressure of old-school analogue. Tremor's dance drums, funky beatscapes, abstract machines and undiscovered sonic terrain are suited to all kinds of electronic, urban and experimental music.

Central to each of Tremor's 8 synthesis engines is a specialized DCAM oscillator with harmonic partials akin to a drumskin's modes of vibration. Mixed with a sub-oscillator and tuned noise source, the signal is sculpted by modelled drive/filter/FX sections and razor-sharp envelopes. Tremor's diverse output includes classic kicks, snares and claps, organic hats and body-shaking subs alongside futuristic zaps, scrapes, textures and sounds that defy classification.

The TransMod modulation system in Tremor is easier and deeper than a mod-matrix. It offers new sound design possibilities and lets you animate sounds with LFOs, step-automation sequences and real-time macro controls while the synthesis engine reacts just like real analogue circuits. Tremor's sonic potential is showcased in the included suite of presets by a team of elite sound designers.

Nice! Been dreaming of an updated Tremor for a while, great to finally see the day. Had some issues with the older version, hoping this might resolve those. Big thanks to R2R and HORiZON for this awesome drum synth, always appreciate your efforts. In my opinion the polymeter/polyrhythmic implementation is fantastically intuitive and should be in every fucking DAW on the planet. It's 2015 people, why can't it be easy to run two meters against each other? The fact that it isn't is a clear signal that DAW developers are still leaving out the basics and adding a bunch of fluff nobody needs.

Great point catalyst. It IS extremely frustrating that polymeter implementation, even in most software sequencers, is ignored.... I was getting really into that with synths a couple of years ago, but I had to use a Doepfer Darktime to skip steps etc, it was a pita..... But it can be such a joyful and happy accident style of composition etc....

Too true. Doesn't Guru have that polymeter thing too? Sure it does. Not sure about Geist. It's really visible and fun in Tremor though. You can see it real time and the feedback you get really helps you picture what is going on.

Fxpansion's another company who I own all of their products (drums anyway).

Tremor's very under rated. It probably wouldn't be your no.1 drum synth module, but when you have all the main bases covered, it fits in a niche and a gap that nothing else does. Sometimes have to low pass/hi pass filter it to sit in the mix, but you can always find it doing something that nothing else does. It's extremely cpu hungry though. Always need to render down with this bad boy.

I don't use it much, but that pattern editor is invaluable, even though you can't drag'n'drop the midi patterns a la geist etc.

Reaper can do almost what Tremor can do, just alt+click on the end of a midi item in a track and you can move the length to whatever you want. You can make anykind of wierd poly rythms you want. Also you can have ghost notes on the track, something i found really difficult to do with tremor.

Good luck with the quitting smoking, i gave up 15 years ago. Best thing i ever did, its great when you get your tastebuds working again and you discover how nice food tastes :)

but I get an error on Yosemite 10.10.2 and logic 10.1.1
"Tremor has been disabled because the license manager could not be located please re-install to resolve."

this is the first plugin of fxpansion I've installed and I have no license manager app under application folder .
reinstalled it over and over again but it's continue with the Demo Mode.

Also the installer is not launching, tried changing the allow downloaded apps from anywhere to install n nothing. Im on osx maveriks.
