I installed the trial version from the Sony website or machine ID in SpectraLayer 3
has two characters and a dash more than keygen

Yeah this KG dont work with this version i go back to version before until a new kg version is released we can expect all Sony products will have the same "new" machine ID protection so dont update they may just release updates just for protection.

For registering SpectraLayers:
Click Patch button. Disable your internet connection (or
block the application with firewall). Start the program.
Click Offline button. Fill the regdata in the appropriate
form as shown in the dialogbox. (the first one is the serial
number, the second one is the authentication code)

Follow the above exactly, all working fine here.

Thanks but you clearly is not aware of the problem it is most likely my and "mhackos" machines that causes the problem

I am not a noob far from it i have installed cracked software many many times since the early 1990s i did everything exactly like it suppose to be done so no lessons needed for me i am usually the one that is the teacher :)

I dont have internet on my studio PC not even configured to have an internet connection i only have the Lan drivers installed and that is because Ez drummer2 needed a lan driver installed to work.

Maybe that is why it causes problems?

But as stated before in the reg dialog box it adds this symbol - follow by two letters in the machine ID after the ones that is already in the kg

The others letters and numbers that are in the KG is exactly the same as in the reg dialog box but it misses that - and two letters at the end of the Machine id.

And it cant be changed in the KG tried it several times

And also the authentication code doesnt even look the same on the reg dialog box it says it should look like this XXX-XXX-XXXXXX not sure but it is 3 XXX:s and in the KG it looks like XXXXXX-XXXXXXXX exactly like it used to be in version 2..

Make sure you look at the Sony Dialog properly, it has a ,

Also because you are offline the Prompt may quit without error and ask 2nd time, that's normal don't generate again just keep the keygen sitting there and go through the same process for a 2nd time and after that bingo.

Well i been following that instruction exactly like it was before (have been installing cracked softwares since early 1990s so i know my stuff)
It is the change in the Machine ID that causes trouble for me and it cant be changed in the KG

ALL NG paste from direct KG. finally i installed SLP3 steps.

install - not execute - patch from DI2.7
net offline (network card kill from "property radio botton")
spectra layers execute from start menu.

display messegge window "... license all users [ ok ] " pushed ok
display proxy input setting or offline pushed offline

display offline registlation window [browse] code input line [license] botton

DI 2.7 made serial and activation paste "text editor" like notepad.

edited one line "(serial) comma + one space (activation code)"
copy and paste serial example "VCM-G318-WCMS-WR4M, 377DLQGR8-W15GF862N-Q458TTZ4N-BPDRCP7KC-DMKHEEH7T-1DYDC0P4N" (made from DI 2.7)
and push right radio botton.or [browse] botton push sometime.

i try to 10-20 times paste different serial and activate keys from DI 2.7
open the spectral layers pro 3.0 and it's WORKING!!!!!!

and don't forget firewall!

I forgot to mention that I have a Windows 10x64, maybe on Windows 7 works
it is now outdated keygen and I hope the new .... same problem as it was once at Ample Sound

My machine ID was also slightly different from the keygen and dialog that appears, however it still worked, so machine ID doesn't matter really. Only thing you need is to copy the exact serial first from keygen, then put a comma (,) and after comma don;t put a space! instead right away copy and paste the authentication code and it should work. I used to put a space before, and it didnt work, but when i removed space between auth code and comma, it worked. But again, machine ID shouldn't matter too much idk, and maybe for some reason it doesnt work on windows 10, anyway good luck.

And as the machine id is wrong the kg dont even give the right auth code it shall look like this XXX- but in the kg it look likle this XXXXX- you clearly dont know about our problems

Forget machine id and look at your dialog box picture or just follow my example below.

Here is an example obviously your serial etc will be different but...

Serial Code VC0-R7BH-TP3F-6GVG <-- From Keygen

Authentication Code 9DJ27TS0L-BPZQ557PV-B5Y2EVB51-5LMBRCXT0-73VSX00H0-FS8HP1STG <-- From keygen

The part that is confusing is on the dialog box paste the above like this

VC0-R7BH-TP3F-6GVG,9DJ27TS0L-BPZQ557PV-B5Y2EVB51-5LMBRCXT0-73VSX00H0-FS8HP1STG

Please take note that a comma (You have to put the comma in yourself) sits between serial code VC0-R7BH-TP3F-6GVG and Auth code 9DJ27TS0L-BPZQ557PV-B5Y2EVB51-5LMBRCXT0-73VSX00H0-FS8HP1STG

No mention about that in the nfo or the dialog box only that comma sign after the xxx,s which i tried to put after the xxx,s on the uth code looking something like this XXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXX,-

But that comma thing didnt say anything to me as i only can see part of the auth code in the kg anyway..
And it was probably some language barriers aswell as i didnt get it at all :)

What was confusing was the 3 XXX,s at the start that was shown in the dialog box as i thought it belonged to the auth code not the serial..

You never stop learning must put a note about that in the Sony folder on my external USB drive where i keep my backups if i have a crash or an upgrade to Win 10 so i dont make the same mistake twice

It made me laught, after some intents or tests.
So simple as copy Serial Number, paste, add a comma, then copy and paste Activ/Authent Code after the comma !!! enter OK :))))

can you post a screenshot of how your keygen looks like when you click on the option spectralayers pro 3 (64-bit) inside the plugin, show me the screenshot. something doesnt add up here. and yes, I know, after you click offline button (assuming you disabled internet connection before opening), it just says auth code, but it is actually in the format serial,auth

anyway, post screenshot and we will go from there.

I get 'this program has stopped working' error as soon as it starts

What I did was:
- install
- open keygen
- patch
- Start Spectral
- add serial,auth
- it then starts up.... but gives the error

Any ideas please? Thanks

It seems to crash at the 'loading plugins' step

Strangely, if I rename the plugins folder to say 'Plugins-x', the program starts up.
Going through each sub-folder, renaming to try to identify the culprit, didn't help though.
It seems to be just having the Plugins folder there causes the error
Maybe some other Sony software tells it to look elsewhere??
