Poise makes working with drum samples quick and effortless, allowing you to focus on creating music.

Poise features 16 drum pads, which can each use 8 samples. Sample layers have parameters for pitch, volume and balance, as well as amplitude and pitch envelopes. There are several sample switching types including random, velocity and round-robin.

A browser allows samples to be previewed and loaded via drag and drop. (Drag and drop works from several sources including windows explorer and some host applications.) Samples can also be copied/moved from pad to pad with drag and drop.

Bug Fix: Modal dialogs would open behind the Poise GUI and host GUI in some circumstances. The host application would appear to hang.

dang it... this is exactly what I've been dreaming of for Mac... would be great for Logic... along the lines of Ableton's minimal screen-space approach. I use Nerve mostly for mac, but still, a smaller gui would be best... I've so had it with gigantic gui's... sick of them. UTTERLY HATE THEM.

Poise looks like like it has one knob for pitch as well... wonder if it does cents too?... cuz I prefer that style as well... then tuning samples is like tuning a guitar string ya' know. None of this, one knob for semi-tones, another for cents... although, I can understand getting the fine-tuning down, so you can get it to the closets semi-tone, then, from then on you can just adjust the semi-tone to scroll up and down through the different notes, but, what I've noticed with drum sounds, as that they don't often work like that... especially clap and hats, and shakers. They have too much freq. content, so your ears are constantly focusing on different harmonics as you change their tuning.... so just cuz you tuned a hi-hat to the note of C#, does not necessarily mean going up a semi-tone will yield a "D-note." At least that is quite often my experience.

Thanks Horsemen (for the WIn-heads)
I finally can tune a drum set

There are two pitch knows for each drum, but they both function the same basically, holding shift will do semitones.
