I agree... although, I can't know for sure if "making money" is MEGALODON's plan... I mean, dude has only like 9 posts. He's not a huge player in that regard...

might just be tryin' to provide something that he/she figures the community might find worthwhile... I can't know for sure. On the other hand, maybe you are more familiar with the "ins-and-outs" of file-sharing income and therefore know more than I do... then, perhaps you are right.

Thanks Megalodon. I had downloaded the freeware version from Softube, but then you have to install all of their plugins. Even the ones you don't want. So this is perfect for me. Thanks!

With official installler I had option just to install the plugs you want to, though can't say I know what its actually installing along with your chosen plugs
Its fine with other softube stuff anyway and nothing else has been affected, but wasn't expecting all the crap that came with it. so I'll keep this for next time I upgrade my O\S

Come off it Mykal this is a very useful release. The freeware from the Softube site comes packaged with all the other Softube Plugins in demo mode, an iLOK and the Authorization App just to get this sweet little KNOB

None of that is a big deal, Of course they may pack other stuff in hopes that the free product also shines a light on the other products. And if the poster had used free links such as Zippy or Mega then I would have kept my mouth closed but my point was it's lame to make money off of freeware even if it's just a few coins

i agree mykal, but the freeware download is provided and when you dont want to waste it, you can use the DDL from softube, never paid attention that they have only one t in their company name.
