Mildon Studios - HC38 Headphone Calibrator v1.0 screenshotWIN: x86 VST | RAR5 SIZE: 4.33 MB | EXTRACTED SIZE: 8.48 MB

HC38 Headphone Calibrator lets the user match the sound of their headphones to that of their studio monitors. It is ideal for field work, when studio monitors are not present, or to mix using headphones. It works by simulating several aspects of monitoring in a room environment. The user can adjust crossfeed, sound absorption, and room reflection.

Crossfeed is the merging of the sound coming from each speaker. The amount of crossfeed can be adjusted by choosing from three approximate speaker distances (3', 5', and 7') and fine-tuned using the crossfeed fader.

What's truly unique about the HC38 is its capability to simulate the room environment. The user can select from 6 representative flooring and room treatment materials that affect the way the sound is absorbed and reflected.

It also has the basic hi-pass and lo-pass filters so one can make adjustments based on the frequency response graph provided by the headphone manufacturer.

use it with a lot of caution..
this kind of software can be really helpful, but can also fuck up your works in a couple of minutes..

at first you will say: "IT SOUNDS F**KIN' GREAT"..
then take a listen on your hi-fi and you may be react like this:

before i get my room treated i got the habit to use this kind of corrector (this one and the arc system by IK).. the only expensive stuff that was hangin' in my home studio was the headphone, while mixin' through this kinda plug i fell'd like God.. until I heard some mixdown in the studio when i was working at the time... i still remembrer the engeneer face...

These are dangerous plugins that will false your sound image and you will do mixes that only work with it.

Professional, flat-response headphones are recommended.

I don't use such complex simulators.
I use Redline Monitor. Very simple AND effective. No phase troubles, no freqs mess...

To me, it is just "another mix check tool" and a tool to help headphones listening with crossfeed.

Also as i ha the non installer version on my 300 DVDs collection i did not see a group name if i did i would have said so, i have been collecting since 2000 so i dont know what i have on them discs, plus i have 200 DVDS of Samples and loops and 300 DVDs of music EPS, ALBUMS and compilations so its a big mess in sorting them out.

I think people just want to see you post the original release group in the name of your posts.. you know, to respect them.

I know you didn't say it's your release, but you also didn't see it wasn't... lie by omission kinda thing. Seems an easy thing to do to please people.
