HC38 Headphone Calibrator lets you match the sound of your headphones to that of your studio monitors. It is ideal for field work, when studio monitors are not present, or if you simply want to mix using headphones. Screenshot
It works by simulating several aspects of monitoring in a room environment, including crossfeed, sound absorption, and reflection. Crossfeed can be quickly adjusted by setting the appropriate distance between the speakers, and fine-tuned using the Crossfeed fader. Sound absorption and reflection can be quickly adjusted by selecting from 6 representative flooring and room treatment material models, and fine-tuned using the Room and Size faders.
