DSP-1 is a high performance dynamic signal processor specifically designed to process drum tracks. DSP-1 can be used as an insert effect on single drum channels (bass drum, snare drum, overheads, etc.) or to process the entire drum bus.

The aim of this effect is to increase the perceived level of the processed audio without introduce too much color or artifacts and, above all, avoiding distortion. With DSP-1 it's very easy to maximize the audio level of your drum track without make it sound over compressed or distorted.

Hello, it's Max from MaxSynths. Thank you for sharing a piece of software worth 16€ (11 with the discount). Currently the few money I'm earning from the few sales that I have is my only livelihood, I think that soon I'll have to steal the food, or something like it. I really don't get it, I don't know what's the problem with people which thinks that "sharing is love"; I don't know either who you think a developer/sound designer is... Do you think I'm rich? Do you think you are fucking the system? Nope, most of the time you are fucking someone which have less money than you and which works hard in change of almost nothing (in terms of earnings). Max i did not download this after reading your post ! You are right ! in that we are stealing your hard work and food from your mouth although you will hopefully reap the rewards in free advertizing..For now i am a poor musician and i do not make money from my music. it may seem like hypocrisy as i am a user of reversed engineered software but this is purely because of monetary constraints and the fact some software companies are really over priced but this is definitely not the case here ..I will download the 'Demo' available on your site and support you if i feel this is a tool i can use.
I would even go as far to say that Hydrog3n should check his moral compass... and recalibrate it !'

I cant understand people still using and developping non opensource software, but i start not discussing with you, i respect your way through life, but i hope i am inspering you to think about the fact, that "Sharing is Love" is well meant: software licences, patents laws and media licences wars all over the world taking place right now: i even cant listen to a classical Beethoven track on youtube from the country i live, and i dont live in China or North Korea (ok, in both countries i probably could listen to Beethoven, not in europe 2014!)

I dont have money too, but hey guess what, i got 55 years old without money and i am still a happy man.

I can understand everything on a philosophical plane. By the way the problem is very simple: if I spend months developing a product and you illegally distribute it you are erasing my job. This have nothing to do with a "different" or alternative view.

I never had enough money in my life, so this is not the problem. The proble is that what I earn from the few things I sell it's enough just to survive. That's all I know. I can't see nothing positive in this thing, really. I can't see any skilled hacker, no robin hoods, nothing. just an act of cowardice against a person who is counting the cents. That's all.

I've just created an account here to have the chance to tell, in this particular case, that the distribution and use of software illegally distributed is just harming someone (me). When I say "harming" I mean "harming".

I think that I had to do it. That's all I can do.

MaxSynths I can understand your concerns but on the whole if you're downloading something for free then it's likely you don't have the money to buy it anyway, if you did then you're simply a scumbag and these kinds of people provide hours of entertainment for me and other members when we rip into them for sport. However if someone downloaded, liked it and will have more money to invest in the future they buy it. It's how I got started with all the software that I ended up purchasing because I valued it and wanted to support the development of other great products. It's also how I found out about many smaller developers that I would never have known about. We have quite a few developers here that use the forum and they still make money even though their stuff gets shared. We have a guy from StudioLinked actually and he was just talking about this the other day and he's doing very well for himself. Really there is nothing to do but face it at this point because even if I took this down, it wouldn't change anything. A million others would spring up all over the web like wildfire. You have to use this force for advertising and feedback while innovating your products. Also if you're finding it hard to survive why not help yourself to some tools that can maybe get you to a place where you can? That is if your morality can handle it.

I still believe in 'Try before you buy'. And I dont mind the 'warez' way of doing it either.

@Catalyst you basically summed up what I've always thought about software.
In terms of business, if the person never intended to buy the product (due to any reason, affordability etc), then how is it counted as a lost sale then? I agree, if you have the money, then one should support and buy but you can't count it as a lost sale if it wasn't going to be purchased in the first place, regardless if the person ends up downloading it. But thats my opinion ofcause. . .

Also out of respect for MaxSynths I think you should stop sharing the guy's work. We have more than enough releases and we don't need this one if it's having such a negative impact on the man's livelihood. I'm not gonna get all preachy because i respect this community and the resources that are at my disposal to make my music ...After much deep thought, i think this topic raises awareness and starts a conversation about where DO we draw the line...? I do feel like a big fat hypocrite because we all know we use cracked stuff daily ...yet it grates me Hydrog3n buys up software from small developers who are clearly not Rich corporations & trying to get their name out there and offering up their work @ extremely low prices. Is this a Robin Hood Complex in reverse or some kind of egotistic craving for ratings on Audioz ? Each to his own, but personally I don't feel comfortable participating and think although a ban is pretty harsh..Hydrogen thinks he is doing good but he's actually causing harm..or is he ?..There are 2 sides to every coin_ ..On the flipside i can also see a angle although jagged that if hydrogen didn't Share these companies maybe wouldn't get half the exposure or potential future customers for example they've gotten on this thread..Kind of a Interesting paradox we find ourselves in.. maybe the answer is ! Young software developers should post a free 14 day version on Audioz to get it out there .After all there is no other forum in the world like Audioz and we dont exclude anyone who has something to offer be it Free or Crk'd and that's why i swear my allegiance to the audioz flag..and yes Grow up you 2..

I have to agree. I don't see the point in ruining someone's life for a cheap plugin. Why would you even watermark an 11 euro plugin to begin with? Anyway the post has been blacklisted.
