Harrison is proud to announce the availability of the FREE v2.4 update for Mixbus. This update brings numerous fixes, as well as a new addition to Harrison’s XT series for Mixbus: the XT-BC Bass Character plug-in. Mixbus users can purchase a license ($109) from the Harrison Mixbus store: Harrison Mixbus. Mixbus subscribers received this plug-in for free.

The XT-BC Bass Character plugin is an innovative new equalizer from Harrison’s R&D department. It is designed to musically alter the tonality and character of bass instruments such as electric bass, stand-up bass, and synth bass. Unlike a traditional EQ, the XT-BC is “frequency-agile,” meaning that it tracks the pitch of the sound, and applies EQ specifically to the note’s fundamental or overtones.

The XT-BC can be used to beef up a thin recording, subtly change the tonality of an instrument, or attenuate the fundamental of a bloated bass track that is overshadowing other instruments in the low end of a mix.

Thanks but it's a pain in the ass for me to even try to mix with this "DAW". 11 tracks and after adding 2 effects it cracks and pops, CPU going nuts. And the interface, is ugly!!!
Only about 5-7 plugins, reverb must be purchased, bla bla bla. For me Reaper is good for mixing. This Harrison Mixbus, hmmm...I might give it a try maybe later with 3-4-5 already processed tracks so I won't have to use many effects on this Mixbus "console".

...anyone knows how to route reaper into this? There is a tut how to do this on a Mac. Even tho it has no midi or vsti support (some plugs crash mb also) im glad i bought it a couple of Months ago for 39 bucks. Tremendous Potential this daw has....reaper for Electronic stuff, MB for handmade Music...yumm

It's made to do Virtual Summing

use VSTi in other DAW like Pro Tools Ableton Nuendo Cubase Logic and FL studio etc...then import in here...
