As usual it's a pain in the ass to find out about updates on the NI-site, confusing website full of non-working pages! I guess this update fixes just small issues?

It's for compatibility with Maschine 2 i think and small issues/bug fix...

This release is update and requires previous versions installed.
However, we included the tool to install the update without that.
Check R2R.txt for further information.

I think I remember having read somewhere that all NI updates are in fact full versions, you just have to fake a former full installation to get it to work.

in fact NI has no updates they just like to lock their installers as update.
so this "update" is a full install with update flag in the original installer.

anyway its to big for me to download.

With the NI_InstReg_Reaktor5 tool, how can I change hard disk install destination letter?

NI_InstReg_Reaktor5.exe is for reaktor
NI_InstReg_Absynth5.exe is for Absynth

In WIN7 , the only way i was able to move the library was :
A: Find the factoty library ( not the user library) and move it where you want.
B: Go to C:\ProgramData\Native Instruments\Installer Log
Open with notepad the file with a name starting with "Absynth_5"
(that`s the install log) find the line :
"SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Absynth 5\ContentDir=yourinstallpath"
replace "yourinstallpath" with the new location of the library.
C: Now the tricky part. for security reason you cant Save the file directly.
So "save as", but add 1 letter before the file name and make shure the extension is "All Files Type" . Now return to the folder, and rename the original file (add "back_up_" or anything you want) and rename the file you created( just remove the 1 letter you added yourself.
In Absynth's options, rebuild your database.
Worked for me, even inside maschine studio 2.
Not shure whats gonna happen when i update !!!!
Lastly : the reason i did it this way is that there's no reference to library path in registry, this "installer log" folder looks like an external registry, or so.
