Is this really the beta version or ist the release groups name BETA-CHAOS? I ask because at their homepage sknote is already selling it as a full version.

'BETA' is related to that 'v1.0.0', whereas '-CHAOS' is related to
'Team CHAOS'.

Within the Homepage of this product, if you click on :

'Rev250_readme'

you'll get a '.txt' where you can read the following :

www.sknote.it
Rev250 v.1.0.0

Mode V1 only.
Bypass button inactive.

I can only suppose that these 2 limitations are part of that 'BETA' version, because if you pay attention at the GUI of the Plugin, a button is available to get the 'Mode V2' also, and the 'Bypass' button is also present...
Maybe these 2 items will be fixed for the 'official' version (?)

hiyall. noticed lots of audio dropouts in otherwise smooth reaper. ok sounding reverb, can live without. valhalla beats it easily

ADDED AFTERWARDS :

After trying that 'v1.0.0', the 'V2', 'M1' & 'M2' buttons (right side
of the GUI) only light up briefly and thus can't be activated...
only the 'V1' is always active.
The same applies for the 'Bypass' button (left side of the GUI).
And I confirm that this version is clearly stated as '1.0.0 BETA'
(bottom right corner of the GUI).

The last comments that I've read about these 'missing' options are :

4 Modes are planned :

- Vintage1 (already implemented and fully working)
- Vintage2
- Modern1
- Modern2

"Vintage modes include the modeling of a 10+2 bit A/D converter
with switching input amplifier. S/N ratio changes with levels.
Who knows the old machines will understand why that weird meter".

"Modern modes : how would have it been designed today ?
Full dynamic range, smooth modulations, true stereo reverb

2 machines connected in parallel for stereo".

So I can only suppose (?) that the main reason of that 'BETA' version
is for be tried and used till all these planned options will finally be implemented in an 'Official' version (?).

It's an emulation of the EMT 250. The UAD EMT 250 is 10x more expensive. Pretty cool stuff in my opinion.
