Using w/ JBridge this is a HUGE CPU Hog. Just loading the plugin maxes out my cpu. I AM using a 2 yr old Laptop but still...make sure you have a powerful processor if u want to get any usefulness out of this plugin!
Haven't tried 32bit yet.

Yeah this release has problems with Jbridge. This is crashing and freezing Reaper x64 like crazy here.

I should also mention that i tested the original 1.5 retail demo a few months back (Jbridged too) and didn't had any problems. Looks like whatever's happening is related to the crack or protection..

Hope to see Unveil v1.6 x64 released at some point :)

There are other plugins liek SPL De-verb which use less CPU (but isn't linear phase & less features) , Linear phase multiband transient designers (quickquak mashtactic), and non linear phase transient designers.

You are right, junh1024.
But as far as I'm concerned, the most important features ( I'll put an " s " ) are :

UNVEIL allows you to bring the key features of a recording into focus, or move them to the background, by attenuating or boosting perceptionally less important signal components. Based on our proprietary, artificial intelligence based MAP (Mixed-Signal Audio Processing) technology, UNVEIL allows fixing previously unusable location audio and dialog, tightening up live music recordings

which works like I never heard before on any plug-in tested.
Put the " simple " stereo version on your master bus output, tweak those 5 buttons up there and the " eq ", and your mix will come out MUCH cleaner, focused, this or that part(s) more present or " pushed in the back " and all instruments more " coherently spatialized " together. All of that done very intuitively and in 10 mn.
Just my opinion - and sorry for my English -.

PS : Now that was just for test. I wouldn't leave it there but first try to approach that " fineness" by " hand ", adjusting each track manually as normally, and as much as I'm able. The result would go to the mastering plant anyway - which is ( are ) so much better equipped and trained than I and my ears are - and eventually they would hear artifacts inserted by that kind of tool. I'll keep it to show them what I'm looking for by producing, finally, a " homemade master trial version " of the final idea. [ Oups sorry for being personal ... ]

Please R2R, if your time permits it, could you reverse the new version v1.6.2 ? Thank you so much to everyone involved in all this hard work !

NOTE TO THE x64 PEOPLE THAT WANT TO jBrige THIS PLUGIN IN ORDER TO USE IT WITH A 64 BIT DAW:
. Use jBridger and *CHECK* "Don't add .32/.64 in file names in destination folder"
. Click "Create bridging files inside a directory I'll specify"
. Select the original folder where the dlls were installed; then select a different folder from the original folder as a destination for the jBridged dlls
. Copy/paste the "UNVEIL VST data" & "UNVEIL VST 8ch data" folders into this destination folder
. Done.
