FXpansion's Etch is a versatile filtering effect based on DCAM circuit-modelled technology. Etch's dual filters let you switch between 4 models for all manner of fat and warm subtractive tone-shaping, with a comb filter type providing mind-bending psychedelic effects.

Additional distortion and compressor stages are provided for beefing up signals, and FXpansion's TransMod modulation system lets you animate Etch's circuits over time. Use inter-modulating LFOs, envelopes and more to drive the filter cutoffs, distortion level, compression amount or any other parameters. Etch does amazing things to all kinds of audio material and is great for subtle warming, deep tone sculpting, wild sweeps, special effects and experimental sonics.

Is it just me, or the Mac .pkg installer is missing?
FreeComp also unrars into an "Installer" folder (in which you can actually find the VST plug), but there's also a .pkg there.

Ok I found the solution on for all mac users out there:

Tip: Always turn off Airport or unplug Ethernet cable ( if you're using it ) when installing k'd ware.

Open up toast titanium, make sure Data at the top left is selected then click mac only directly below that.

Drag all of the files within FXpansion folder into toast titanium where it says "drag files and folders into this area", then click save as disk image button (which is slightly to the left of the big red button) save as any name you want then click ok. A save disk image as box will appear, select desktop if not already selected then click save. Wait for it to create the disk image.


Close toast titanium ( no need to save)

You should now have the disk image on your desktop with .toast extensions. Now simply click on .toast file . A cd image will appear on the desktop named whatever you named it when saving the disk image as. Double click that cd image and it will be in there. YOU CAN NOW DOUBLE CLICK THESE .pkg files AND INSTALL WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.
