a specific amplifier, we try to capture the best aspect of schematic designs, tubes, electronics and computer programming to achieve the supreme tone for your guitar through your personal computer while maintaining the user interface as easy as possible.

Users are able to control every aspects of the software just like real guitar amplifiers including (but not limited to) gain structure, tone, mic position, and distance.

I friggin rock,
dude, guitar rig its the worst amplifiers emulation that i ever try.... u should try lepou plugins (freeware) its a huge way better then guitar rig, and peavey revalver its better too... in fact, i only use amplitube for bass because i couldnt find a good bass amp, but for guitar, lepou and peavey rocks!!!!

I also use the peavey VST.. Dj have to consider some people dont use Amp sims for just guitar, I personally like to use GR as more of a rack fx processor on vocals, and for special FX like Tractor 12 and its Convolution reverb...

I will check out both of your suggestions.. cheers.

I still maintain this particular unit to be sub-par and pretty cheesy in its appearance.

well if you use them just for FX..then GR is a good choice....if it's to play then I'd say it depends on what kind of music you intend to play...clean stuff or slightly over-driven..GR is good...high gain stuff...definitely my first choice...

I friggin rock, for FX only you should try the Nomad Factory MAGMA if you haven't yet..that's a pretty good one IMO..though maybe not as flexible as GR depending on what you use primarily

for bass you have the Mark Studio 2 by softube..works pretty good man. But I also use amplitube and it's quite OK IMO...
