Sequoia v12.1.1.129 (DC2) x32 & x64

the idea of sequoia was radio, films , streaming in realtime, databases, multysinc .. . but is so poor implemented video :(

also dont know what that DC2 exactly means, maybe:
DoubleCrack2 (for both 32\64bit versions?)
who knows... im not.

if "Union" release now also a 32\64bit release of this version (maybe tagged with DC3) we step by step maybe all know more about that mysterious DC... (if it's not "release candidate")
but if it's nothing from all, it's maybe just a thing for the x-files. ;)

The Update + Crack only won't work for me.
I have 32 and 64 bit on my machine and they both work fine.

If I try to run the 32 bit update installer it tells me I need dac3x.dll.
If I try to run the 64 bit installer it tells me I need MDLL64.dll.

I checked the installation directory and both dlls are there but the installers don't see them.


I really don't want to have to do a full install again.
But if I must, that is the price of progress.

go to SUPPORT and register for FREE and after that just log in to your account and you can download the update from them and use the pre patched files in this release but make sure you run the update as a ADMINISTRATOR in WIN 7

The only fact that I can testify you right now is that the 'special Patch
x86 - 32bit' provided by 'Tracer' (the user that has posted a comment
just above yours ! ) a few days ago within a 'Horsemen' article and
which contains the update 'v12.1.1.129' x64 ONLY (by Team CHAOS) works like a charm for me !
I've tested them (the update and the 'x86-32bit patch') extensively
and till now all is working perfectly for me (under XP Pro SP3 [x86-32bit]).

By cons, I noticed that the update version posted here weighs 893 MB, whereas the version posted by 'Horsemen' weighs 207 MB, so unfortunately I can't exactly tell you what is the difference between both...
As the release posted here is done by 'Team REPT', which has also released the first available version of 'Sequoia 12', I don't fear this release
in any way, a contrario !

However, until I don't know exactly what differences exist between both,
I keep the first one posted a few days ago --> 'Team CHAOS' + (x86-32bit) Patch by 'SILENCE' and graciously offer to us by 'Tracer'.

REPT RELEASE HAS THE ISO, UPDATE AND PRE PATCHED FILES AND CHAOS RELEASE HAS THE UPDATE AND 64 PRE PATCHED FILE. THATS THE DIFFERENCE I HOPE THAT HELP YOU GUYS

Thank your for the info, and if I well understand your comment, the only difference between both versions is then the '.ISO' image.
But now, the 'real plot' is to know what exactly is included within
this '.ISO' image...


P.S: By the way, I stopped the 'Torrent' that I started about 1 month ago
for the 'Sequoia v7.0' (.ISO) that you're looking for. It doesn't even started since the first day that I launched it !!! (No Seeders on the horizon... ).
I can only guess that it will be hardly to get it !

The ISO is the same ISO from the first release so there is no difference in it, second i do have the v7.0 ISO so im ok on that subject, there is nothing extra in the ISO all there is the new update and cracks only,

Developer says, that Sek - is daw. So...

I've always seen this product for engineers and not musicians. If you have your home recording studio and you record "your music" this product does not fill your expectations. MIDI implementation is poor, and is not intended to make music.
If U are not interested in multisync cut, and not have co-workers (in a net o intranet) (like in a tv or radio) do not need advanced crossfades. Sequoia have more tools to admin permisions in sound databases than vsti for make pianos (and of course no choices to export music to soundcloud o facebook ha ha ha)
Its not really a tool for mastering MUSIC, because all tools for mastering MUSIC are present in samplitude proX . Ebu normative from sequoia is for broadcast and cinema.
Rivals of sequoia ARE NOT protools, live, logic or presonus . . . real rivals are Sadie, and Pyramix . . . but ever magix have clear things and try to catch clients from musicians . . . of course, you can make beautiful songs with photoshop writting with a musical font, but THAT IS NOT A MUSIC TOOL.
If you have a electric guitar, and need vandall, please . . go to samplitude music studio and basic programs from the line, with lots of tools for youg musicians, not administrative tools for databases :)))

except using "native instruments kontakt" as sampler for the rex files, there is !far as i know! no really good solution for this aviable (like batch converter to wav etc.) you be also able to load the rex files before in "recycle" but you have to im\export every single file as .wav - a stupid time-eating work (without having the bpm\key info in the file)

if you need really some of the rex files i decide: load sequoia, smash the rx2's in "kontakt" and just use it in a normal midi way. if you want wav files, just trigger all the files you need with your master-keyboard and trackbounce this midi track (or single ones) after this as wav. (get sure that you have acitavte a snapped grid to your sequoia-mastertempo, so that you easy and proper arrange the whole wav or just slices of them in a fast way, also to export the midi ones proper as wav without "cuting with ears")
now after you have the single wav files, double-click on the wave object you need, than click on "time and pitch" and make a selection\cross at the tiny "loop" corner (right @ the ^top^ of the loop section) now you can drag this wav-loop long as you need by right-pulling the obj. over the track, it repeats automatic now (without copy\paste work)

not the most elegant way, but better than nothing...

and of course, the high price of Sequoia, is NOT for the quality of the product (the same sonics than samplitude) is for the need from proffesionals than need telephone asistence 24/365 and need "snob" high level solutions for his personal use.
If i contact with presonus (its an example) and pay for a special version with voice recognition and matrix look in green an black, maybe the price will be different than regular versions of the market.
To have the most expensive software is not to have the best software . . . . and sequoia is not for end users . . .

I have been using Samplitude for quite a few years now.. x64 only became available recently with the latest Samplitude 12 and it was drowned in bugs.
Most new features were also lifted from Sequoia.
I am not a sound engineer.. I make music.. real instruments music I record with microphones, with little use of MIDI. I also mix and I master my own music and, like most, use third party plugins for the job.
Sequoia has all that Samplitude can offer plus some but, above all, it is much better sorted and with very few bugs.
That's a good enough reason for me to use it.

for me it's the other way around, like yours. im not a real musician, more into mix and remix, so it seems that samplitude is since the first version (at this time from sek'd and not magix) my life-daw, my WIFE with more features and sexy curves that i really need\can process (: i dont need a phatass wife like sequoia-lopez in the future. left to say,
well that we all have today an individual\unique decision after compare & working close with both ladys!

Sequoia is 2002 year daw, not 2012, in other words it stands near Cubase 3. Then I'm surprised - it is built on C++2005, - so can we say, that the core of this program is outdated? I mean they put old program in new skin, new box, new price... Generally, I respect all people, who do their jobe, and I respect MAGIX for Sequoia project. But! See: I`m Reaper user. Its distributive size is less, its prize is less, but its possibilities are inexhaustible. What can make me go to Sequoia from Reaper? Nothing.

Sequoia is not supposed to a "sequencer", is is solely designed for mastering/post production work. And the price of Sequoia has always been around $3000.00, so that is nothing new. I have been a Samplitude pro user since version 6 and I kinda like that not everyone knows about Magix. You're comparison to Audition is just laughable. But if don't hear the MASSIVE difference in your audio between Samplitude/Sequoia and Reaper, then that is fine. We don't want you in the 'club' anyway. :)

Go to this perspective . . . imagine this: I am boss in a important radio, and have all day emision in a vip (project) but the objects in tracks, (spots from important comercials, like cocacola , etc etc . . ) are not in my pc, because are in a server on intranet . . . then i can only see the objects, but a superuser (with password) can logg in server and change and edit (remote from another country) this jingles . . .

Well, at 16.30 in the radio we have an interview . . . and (while playing) want record the interview and insert this interview at differents hours of the programation, example, at, 18,30 and 21, 30 . . . (then i make a multisync) and record in the holes whith no publiciti areas of these times . . . .

Really can make this AUDITION? hahahahahahah
