DaVinci Resolve is the world’s only solution that combines editing, color correction, visual effects, motion graphics and audio post production all in one software tool! Its elegant, modern interface is fast to learn and easy enough for new users, yet powerful for professionals. DaVinci Resolve lets you work faster and at a higher quality because you don’t have to learn multiple apps or switch software for different tasks.
That means you can work with camera original quality images throughout the entire process. It’s like having your own post production studio in a single app! Best of all, by learning DaVinci Resolve, you’re learning how to use the exact same tools used by Hollywood professionals!

Audio Consoles
Although the Fairlight page includes a software based mixer that you can use with a mouse and keyboard, using it with a hardware console lets you work much faster! That’s because you can mix multiple sounds and adjust multiple parameters at the same time. The knobs and faders feature the perfect amount of resistance for making extremely subtle adjustments. Fairlight panels have been designed in collaboration with some of the world’s leading audio engineers so you get a streamlined workflow with logically placed controls that automatically adapt to the current task. Whether you’re using a desktop or a modular console, Fairlight lets you work faster and at a higher quality than any other system!

Fairlight Desktop Console
The Fairlight Desktop Console is a full audio control surface featuring a bank of 12 touch sensitive faders and pan knobs, built in LCDs above each channel strip, channel control buttons, automation transport and navigation controls, HDMI graphical interface output for connecting a monitor, and more.

Fairlight Studio Consoles
If you work on film, television, streaming content or commercials, the modular consoles make it easier and faster to mix larger projects with more channels and higher track counts. Modular components can be dropped into existing desks or you can purchase and customize a 2, 3, 4, or 5 bay chassis!

Fairlight Desktop Console
The Fairlight Desktop Console is a complete audio mixing control surface for mixing multiple tracks at once, automating a variety of parameters and plug‑in settings, controlling channel functions, recording, monitoring, and navigating your project. It’s ideal for new users, smaller studios, commercials, online and independent work. You get a familiar mixer design with 12 motorized faders, precision control knobs and illuminated buttons for quickly identifying channels! You can use the knobs and buttons to control channel parameters, EQ, dynamics, plug-ins and more. The built in HDMI output lets you connect a display, giving you the same interactive graphical feedback as the larger consoles!

Compact and Professional
The Fairlight Desktop Console uses the same high quality faders as the full size modular consoles. The sculpted faders are smooth and provide the perfect amount of resistance for making subtle adjustments. The precision engineered encoder knobs ensure a long life of noiseless operation, and the console buttons are rated at a million presses. Individual LCDs display track information for each channel. The high quality search dial is extremely responsive and is much faster than a mouse. The soft front panel bumper makes long sessions more comfortable, the console can be installed flush in a custom desk, and there’s even a built in power supply, which means no power brick!

Channel Strips
The Fairlight Desktop Console features 12 channel strips that can be used in a variety of ways for mixing audio. Each channel strip has a motorized fader for adjusting levels, a series of buttons for solo, mute and other parameters, a multifunction pan knob, and an LCD that shows you information about the channel or track on which you are working. Channel strips can be used to control an individual track and any strip can be assigned to any track in the project. You can also use a single strip to control multiple tracks in a group, or you can use the channel strips to control buses. This gives you the speed and flexibility you need for total control over your recording and mixing sessions!

DaVinci Resolve 20 What's New
DaVinci Resolve 20 introduces more than 100 new features including powerful AI tools designed to assist you with all stages of your workflow. Use AI IntelliScript to create timelines based on a text script, AI Animated Subtitles to animate words as they are spoken, and AI Multicam SmartSwitch to assemble a timeline with camera angles based on speaker detection. The cut and edit pages introduce a dedicated keyframe editor and voiceover palettes, and AI Audio Assistant analyzes your audio and intelligently creates a professional audio mix. In Fusion, explore advanced multi layer compositing workflows. The Color Warper now includes Chroma Warp, plus Magic Mask and Depth Map have huge updates.

Fairlight
6 Band Clip EQ
Clip EQ now features 6 bands on the cut, edit and Fairlight pages. This allows for more tonal control at the clip level, and matches the track EQ in the mixer. So now you can easily copy and paste settings between the clip, track and EQ plug-in for more consistent, flexible and precise control.

EQ and Level Matcher
Two new clip processing options let you adjust a target clip’s audio to match a reference clip’s level or tonal spectrum. EQ match is dynamic and is automatically automated across your clip to maintain a tonal match. Level Matcher lets you seamlessly intercut clip sections without manual changes.

Chain FX
If you have a favorite group of plugins that you need to apply together, you can now build a Chain FX to include them, each with customized settings and saved as presets. You can have up to six effects within a chain and also combine Chain FX plugins for longer chains in the channel effects slots.

Automation Improvements
Fairlight now features per-channel automation mode selection allowing for more flexibility and creative control when mixing your projects. In a single pass you can now dynamically adjust multiple individual tracks and have some channel automation settings in Snap, some in Latch, and others in Trim.

AI Audio Panning to Video
Auto Panning Left to Right
The new IntelliTrack AI point tracker lets you automatically generate precision audio panning by tracking people or objects as they move across 2D and 3D spaces! With AI audio panning to video, you can track on screen subjects, accurately generating panning data to match movement against picture!

AI Fairlight FX
The AI based dialogue separator FX lets you rebalance dialogue against background sound and the reverberant sound of the room. You get controls for voice, background and ambience so you can reduce, remix or remove competing sounds. It’s perfect for field recordings and interviews in busy locations.

Fairlight Ducker Track FX
The ducker track FX lets one track auto adjust the level of another track without the need for setting up complex side chain compression or automation curves. You can automatically set music or background noise to lower when dialogue is present, then fine tune the audio mix with advanced controls.

Ambisonic Surround Sound
Record, mix, monitor and deliver full sphere Ambisonic surround soundtracks! Fully integrated native operation with 1st to 5th order busses and tracks, native effects processing, 2D and 3D spherical panning, binaural and channel based monitoring, dynamic in-viewer metering and head tracking support.

would like to know it too ! Is it finally out of the annoying fucking beta bullshit that took forever and is it using full crack ?? i'm using a "portable" 20 beta4 version here. -it won't load some 3rd party filters and transitions and it won't load Reactor scripst either, it also screwed up my main projects start up folder and it took me a considerable amount of time to figure out how to recover it.. because of that reeetarded project saving system Davinci is using. BM neglected for too long to implement some key features Premiere and FCP had already for ages ... Stuff like hitpoints snap in timeline could have been there already since v18 ...

For me it runs without any problems. You can use the R2R Emulator (must install again!)
All plugins (Red Giant, Saphire, BorisFx etc.) are working fine on Win11)!

Hello dear audioz galaxy colleagues! I currently use PowerDirector 2025 for video editing, and I believe it meets my basic needs. My workflow involves importing the video into the DAW, completing the mixing and/or mastering process, then exporting the audio with the appropriate LUFS settings in Cyberlink and inserting it into the video using predefined created templates.

For DaVinci Resolve 20 users, what do you think of it? What are the major benefits of switching to this software? Has anyone tested the pro version and recommends using it? Is it truly advantageous for those who work with audio?

Thanks in advance!

... ok ! If you want something done right, do it yourself, so i'm replying to myself:

1) first of all thanks to the original poster for releasing this through a fast filehost !

2) i have downloaded and installed this, everything seems to be launching and working fine using the DVREMU2 by R2R. all projects, timelines and fusion clips i have done with a portable release of v20b4 are loading up and playing ! I have restarted everything 2 or 3 times, no glitches or errors.

3) if you have already installed and properly activated the DVREMU2 by R2R, there is NO need to use the included patch at all. I did not use the included patch.!

To whom it may concern: Watching some videos on Youtube, I have noticed that if you work extensively with audio on the fly and color correction, DaVinci Resolve 20 can be excellent. On the other hand, PowerDirector 2025 is FAR more suitable for those seeking simplicity and speed in editing (my case).

Hi..., Davinci Resolve Studio is an absolutely professional video editing and special effects program. For me, it's the fastest and most stable program I've ever worked with! Previously I worked with Adobe Premiere & After Effects, but both were just too slow for me. With Davinci everything runs in real time, even in 4K!
However, I also have a workstation with NVidia RTX4090 GraKa, Intel i9 13900, all drives are Nvme SSD's (Samsung Pro 990) and 96GB DDR5 RAM. I have never reached my limits, not even with complex 4K projects!
With the plugins from Red Giant, Boris Fx and Genarts Saphire, you have a real power tool in your hands.
Best regards...
