It does run smoother and with slightly less CPU usage. I'm on windows 11

ever wondered why
The built-in plugins of any DAW almost never Spikes your CPU, RAMS
as 3rd party ones do ?!
even its heavy virtual instruments

I tried Studio one, Abelton Live , Fl-Studio
all does the same !!
Built in Plugins are Lite on CPU

It is upto DAWs to make stock plugins cpu friendly or not. For example, Wavetable synth in Ableton consumes more cpu than Serum while having very limited features.

Thank you for mentioning this; I'll wait for a V.R. release.

If this release installs Arturia Software Center as mentioned by user @New Season, I'll pass and wait for R2R release with Ascemu.

Yes, I've just done the same and it works, both standalone and VST3. After install replaced original with patched files (in Common Files and ProgramData folders, read .txt) and unistalled ASC,

beware. I uninstalled the center app and pigments is now in demo mode.

I tried to close and reopen Pigments 6 several times and it's still OK after uninstalling ASC. Note that I have R2R ASCEMU 1.3 installed in the same PC.

Didn't wanna come off as ungrateful, but from the off I decided I'll hang on for R2R.

Their 20gb synth bundle just for trying pigments is a big no for me

You can use the installer from the Arturia site, not the software center, but just the pigments. Run the R2R Ascemu patch and it works fine.

WOW! Seriously?

You see, this is why I ALWAYS wait on R2R, they are light years above and beyond any other groups. Zero offence meant, each to his/her/they/their own, and I know full well the other Teams do great work. I'm just never so desperate for anything that I can't just either await R2Rs drop, or else just pass.

Great news ProgHouseDJ, I'll get on it once I return from work tonight. Cheers, mate, have a blessed day.
And the truth shall set you free.

For those who says it install ASC, have you tried to dowload it from Arturia official website and apply this?

Well, i dowloaded it (https://www.arturia.com/es/support/downloads-manuals) installed and can confirm it still works. After installation uninstall Arturia Software Center, apply the patch to the file (vst3 in my case) and it works. Crazy how useful this patcher is, cant we have something like that for lets say plugin alliance? So we dont have to wait for a official r2r release. Something like that is crazy!

The installer you download from Arturia website is exactly the same included in Josenacha release:

Pigments__6_0_1_5484.exe (1.455.886 Kb)

Then Just patch and uninstall asc, you wont have any trouble
  Member 28.10.2021 343

I didn't uninstall the ASC, I just deleted it. Pigments seems to work fine.

I followed this advice, and it works fine.
