And this is the explanation of why plugins ocupates so much space in the hard disk .

I suspected something similar : programers are very lazy, if they can use a dll already programmed, they prefer to use it instead of programing a new one without all the innecesary code, wich only make the program bigger without any use at all.

I think Acustica Audio is the top example of that.
R2R have show it to the world.

Would love to see more software “unbloated” like this one 👍🏼

Unfortunately not true : dlls are not included in the plugin, they are loaded at runtime. As a consequence, this is not taking more space on the hard drive. What is said is that they avoided loading the same dll multiple times in memory.

And as a consequence, this is actually saving space on our hard drives since it can reuse what's been done elsewhere instead of providing another version which is going to take place.

That being said, all this only works when things are done correctly after all. Those programming principles are good ... the way they are applied may vary from one developer to another

When it comes to iZotope some of the plugins files are really duplicated.

So in this case is lazy programming all right. Even worse perhaps, they install unneeded files.

That issue also came up in V.R's release. Set your screen scale to 100% or less, close that pop-up window in Neutron, reset your scale. Should fix it

That makes the plugin someone else's actual work in that respect, yet the dev here in question is the one expecting to get paid. Not that I would ever pay for any of this stuff. More than 95% of all of my DL's are simply deleted due to the stuff being either redundant, unneeded, or just plain junkware. There is no longer a treasure trove of true gems as there once was due to mediocrity and redundancy flooding the scene.

Anyone tried the new modules ? I'm interested in the new "Density" module for upward compression, i'm looking for something cleaner, smoother and has more control than both MV2 from Waves or the Stock Ableton Multiband that has upward compression.
