Both are great, and can be complementary to one another, at least in my case with old version :)

Honestly, just get both. They’re technically the same instrument, but they take pretty different approaches. GForces feels like a more modern take on a mellotron, with options like an LFO, sample reversal, and the ability to control each layer separately, which you wont find on IK Multimedia's. On the flip side IK gives you the classic three track setup (GForce doesn't), and while you cant add effects to each track individually, you can load your own samples (like in Mellotron V from Arturia). Not everyone will use that, but it’s a cool feature. Overall, I prefer IK Multimedia’s because I like their sample library better.
On a side note, IK’s is definitely the prettier one, but it’s missing features like a search function, and browsing through presets is kinda confusing...

I must say after testing, wow, thanks TEAM R2R but this sound like sheet!
Old SampleTron is way way better sounding natural , organic etc.
Huge disappointment!

Thy shall perform a "strawberry-fields-like" riff with flute sound.
There is no knowledge that is not power.

Every time I try a new mellotron library, it always seems like they add reverb and effects to make it sound more modern, big and clean. I just want the real mellotron sound. Even if the GUI looks like something from 1999, only the original G-Force M-Tron MKI gives me that.

Totally agree. Even the newer M-Tron added effects. The OG version beats all of them.

You have no idea how angry I was back like a year ago when this was at a huge discount and I couldn't buy it because I'm not in the US
For some reason IK doesn't allow non US users to buy any of their products
I was rejected at completing the payment

...and now...I have it for free

You just have to love the sound of a Mellotron, Has been one of my favorite instruments since it first became popularized. Will have to see which sounds better the GForce M-Tron or this.

Thanks. I got rid of Strings, Voices, Guitars, so down to 4GB. I'll probably delete a few others after, but I love woodwind. Pianos might be nice.
