I hope I can figure this out, Omnisphere is one of the most challenging to install. I have a whole collection of releases, updates, soundsource updates, Library updates, extensions an so on.
Is there a new soundsource version that is required?

i guess you should also copy the vst2 into this directory "C:\ProgramData\Spectrasonics\plug-ins\64bit " if you want the SAL version to work.

always tine updates every mean while

but if you had to format your PC or Mac
you need to go for the oldest full , whole installer since I think 2019 or 2020
then go for every new update installer till the latest one

repeat the same with libraries update patchers

but we all adore these plugins !!

Are you sure about that i thought you just needed the main installer then you could just update from there skipping everything in between? Atleast that's what i did

This is not correct Aeay2007. In fact is the opposite.

They deliver full updater, but you can also dl updater for each plugin, soundsource and patch updates. In fact one of the better companies.

And absolutely NO need to run "every new update". Clean install is simple, install first plugin, then run latest updater and patch your stuff and you are ready to go!

sure about that guys ?!

just asking coz there're 2 problems :-

1- patch updates differs a lot --> sometimes latest one is like 300MB while thw one before is like a full Gigabyte , so how so this tiny latest one fullfil the previous one files ?!!

2- I tried what you said at least 3 times , each time I got an Error message :-
the library need a patch update or so

it never go unless I install many update patches

so, maybe the suggestion of keeping the STEM Folder on a separate Disk or Partition full updated is a good way out
then I need to try out what you suggested for the main program
install latest full installer and activate it
then install latest update , see the results

The updates are cumulative, no need to install anything but the latest as long as you have the full base library.

I think the file size fluctuates depending on the zip/rar compression level used by the uploader.

NO not true, for us running the cracked versions anyway... aeay2007 is correct. Maybe it is true if you're running the legit stuff. Don't really know. Most here have to apply what they are given. What is generally given are piecemeal, version dependent, single purpose updaters that only update certain portions of the install (one for patches, one for plugins, one for library additions, etc...) and leaves the rest for a separate updater. They always have pre-requisite version levels that must be satisfied or the patches will throw an error stating insufficient version number. That's just been the way it is since forever and we deal with it.

However if your current running version is up to date you should be able to apply the latest updates without problems. But as you'll notice even with this latest batch of updates the library, and plugin code patches are all separate installers.

False. If everything else is installed and updated you just need the latest installer, i’m still using 2.8.5f from Moria and when I reformat all that’s needed is one 88MB installer. you don’t have to do any of the other updates more than once even after reformatting , if you do it means there is a problem elsewhere

Nope just keep all content on another disc (aka the STEAM folder) than the system disc
And after you have formated your C drive just install latest "WORKING" Omnisphere standalone/plugins version and then patch EVERYTHING you need its all in the NFO and use the keygen to reg it and then load up the plugin or standalone and in the option locate the steamfolder and voila
And the same goes of course for Trillian and Keyscape aswell

i have a cracked omnisphere installed on my windows machines, but i would also like to install it on my macbook. the problem is, i dont have enough free space for the 60 GB library. Is there any ckracked group release that makes it work without the library? i would be fine just using it's synthesis without the samples.

You can just ignore the messages about the Steam folder not being found or not writable. However, in my opinion, Omnisphere has a very outdated interface for being "just" a synth. I highly recommend using Serum or Pigments instead for this purpose

i have installed the latest moria release of omnisphere without the library. it opens the ui, after clicking several message boxes telling me the library can not be found, i get to the synth ui. there are no filters available and it does not output any sound. i have tried changing the oscillators and lots of other stuff, but no sound came out.

The library can be installed anywhere you want, but the target disk must be fast enough how to make Omnisphere more *enjoyable/usable*, many sounds in this synth are a little heavy for a hdd... After place the library in your preferred disk, u've gotta make the correspondant link to the Omnisphere's default library location, so Omnisphere will think that everything is where it has to be.

For Mac I've solved it by creating an alias of the big STEAM folder placed in an external NVMe and move that alias to;

Macintosh HD/Users/Username/Library/Application \Support/Spectrasonics

I use it always with very poor laptop and hdd external disk for omnisphere , works great, but of course i cant open many tracks at same time but my recommendation is to freeze the track you finish and then load another, that way a make a lot of tracks

All plugins & standalone working as 2.8.7c. VST2 & VST3 installed to correct locations. AAX had to be moved into Spectrasonics sub-folder as usual.

ProgramData folder also updated!

i own every software from them. I never use their installers. I never use their challenge response. It's full of bugs. I keep a full backup of my STEAM folder and i install the latest pirated update. Period. Never had any issues.

Thanks to all involved. I used to have Onnisphere installed a few years ago on an old system, ( at the time, I think it was a multi dvd version) but since then, there has been so many updates. So I'm really unsure which is the best working version of the latest required library releases.
Can some kind soul please direct me to what else is exactly needed in order to get this VSTi working properly, as it should. Thanks for your time/help.

If I can get the Omnispher Synth working, I'd also like to try the Sonic Extensions - Unclean Machine or/and Undercurrent. Any help/tips/advice please, would be greatly appreciated. So
what else should do/get please?

Ok so firstly - Are they the correct files? Also, what way should I install the updates, is there a certain order etc? as I've read posts from other members saying - do not use the installers, copy and overwrite files in the appropriate folder. Sorry for all the questions, I don't want to mess up the STEAM folder as its a 50Gb + download. So I'd really appreciate your guidance and knowledge with this. Thanks so much for your time/help with everything.

Sorry final question: also wondering about the Sonic Extensions, will they work with the version that's posted here? if so, is there any other files required to be installed beforehand. Thank you so much.
