A plugin suite brought to you by the guitarist of Limp Bizkit

Wes Borland
Wes Borland is an American musician and artist who’s carved out his own electrifying space in rock. As the sonic mastermind behind Limp Bizkit’s crushing riffs, Borland is known for blending raw, aggressive guitar work with a fearless experimental edge.

His stage presence is nothing short of legendaryβ€”he’s a true visual artist, turning performances into a spectacle with his wild costumes, face paint, and surreal masks. Borland isn't just a guitarist; he's a living, breathing art piece, redefining what it means to be a rock star.

Amp 1 is based on a RolandΒ© JC-120β„’ Jazz Chorus. This two-input channel with a three-band EQ has become the iconic β€œking of clean” guitar amplifier, with its flagship pure and transparent tonal signature. This combo amp is a mainstay in Wes Borland’s live touring rig, often seen with different painted images across the cabinet speaker mesh.

Amp 2 is based on a DiezelΒ© VH4β„’. This four-channel 100W amplifier is extremely versatile, allowing virtually any tone to be achieved with its four distinctly voiced preamps, each with independent gain, EQ, and master controls. This amp is the heart of most of the heavier tones during the very early 2000s of Limp Bizkit.

Amp 3 is based on a 1965 model SelmerΒ© Zodiacβ„’ 50 MKII Tremolo. This two-channel amplifier offers the chime and saturated breakup tones renowned with vintage UK combos however with the inclusion of the unique SelmerΒ© tone selector system, this inventive circuitry gives this amp its distinctive complex tonal character.

sounds wonderful with Chibson Durst Burst

as a proud owner of 75' JC120 212 , must say it nailed the punch of this amp. The picking sensitivity and the midrange, all of them. What they didn't is how this JC120 is so fucking good if you throw any pedal in front of it especially those time-based and modulation. The guitar still sound strong, big and in your face bragging its huge headroom. Not sure if it's gain staging, still learning for now.

The Boss Digital Delay pedal is quite good sounding. Was hoping they have it in front of them amp for how the amp is known to be good at, pedals in front of it.

Don't know about the Diezel. I don't play that sort of amp. Never play a Selmer before too but it looks fun.

Altough I love the excellence of PA products, STL is known among musicians &/or producers by give lots of *ready to play/record/mix* presets crafted by very talented and already very experimented musicians &/or producers in different musical genres. Of course both brands has their own *always evolving* tech & developement, both sound great through their own way, but I feel that STL has catched better the groove of this anxiety age

This is super fast release !!
I try this plugin because I'm interested on how STL model VH4. Since this is based on Wes rig, it doesn't include any OD pedal to tighten bottom end of VH4. So I use The Scream and finally able to get a good chugging tone.

I compare this VH4 with MLS CB4. For channel 3 & 4, this one is tighter than CB4. For channel 2, I prefer CB4.

It was fast. I haven't tried it yet, after the STL tones video, it seems that this is tailored to Wes' sound (obviously) but I'm curious about the Roland JC-120 and hope that the Diezel VH4 will sound good too.
