is it only me or are these Tone Empire plugins a bunch of nice looking but rather useless plugins?
Also the few comments under the videos all look bought and very generic.

We're grateful for everything we get but yes, there have been some criticisms of these plugins. I haven't used any of them in a mix, so I have no real experience with them.

(I hope the witch didn't mean these plugins in the LANDR txt. :))

Depends on the plug-in & how it is being used (bus vs channel). These are like Acustica Audio offerings to to me just more stable, less glitchy when loading & changing parameters.

But they sound a lot less good than AA.

pretty much 95% of what's out there sounds less good than acustica - even though you'll find plenty of commenters just ready to bash those, too. that doesn't mean tone empire stuff doesn't sound good itself - just not as good. on the other hand, tone empire stuff won't hog your cpu like acustica does. it depends on what sounds you want to get for a particular track. i find myself using their tm-700 occasionally, even though my go to are uad tapes. some valve kult, maybe, on occasion, or their sitral shelves on a snare or a kick, works well. that's the point, finally.

The technology used on AA plugins is completely different than the one used in these plugins, plus, despite the bugs (which i don't have, you probably have bugs 'cause cracked AA plugins are the versions for free that are not updated for the most part and are not the same as the purchased versions) as anon077 said AA plugins sounds better than these.

I find that Model 5000 on my mixbus gives me a good helping of an SSL & API compression sound that I like. I also sometimes like the sound of Locness on my guitar or drum bus to give it some extra grindy bite.

Looking forward to trying out Valvekult on my next mix.
