Did you test the vst3 version aswell? because for me the aax in pro tools works without time bomb but the vst3 gives me timebomb (win10, cubase 10,12,13, studio one 5 and 6 and ableton live 11,12) even on a vanilla system with no other version of god particle or cradle plugins prior installed..
EDIT: just saw you had other daws in the screenshot too. was already wondering why you had a bunch of plugins open.

EDIT 2: Maybe if you want to test this further. with the first god particle i installed on my main maschine i had no problems with timebombs the first days. just after a couple of days and saving / reopening a bunch of sessions then i had the problem with the plugin black screen / white noise / gui freeze timebomb. so maybe thats what could get it triggered in the first place..

Edit: if you block your DAW using something like Net Limiter it seems to fix the timebomb issue. I have tested this new release the same way I did previous releases and so far no timebomb.

Could the "timebomb" issues be attributed to a possible internet connection phoning home kind of deal?

Is there anyone who has this one working OK that keeps their audio machine completely offline?? If yes that is most likely the problem here.

I can test it sometime later today when I'm on my other rig and report back. (My buddy pointed me to this post. I don't dig anything by Cradle, but I can test it fully offline. )

It took longer than expected to grab the upload because KAT & RG were being weird on me, but I did get it eventually. Tested it in Reaper and Studio One, Win10, offline machine, no previous Cradle installs, and it bombs out to black screen and hissing after about five minutes.

nah, not even the older version shows any change when offline. I have every single website related to cradle blocked on host but if you wait 10 min with it open it'll go crazy with the noise. Tbh I've never had this plugin open for such a long time, just did it once to see if the timebomb was that bad. 10 min is a long ass time.

This Rev-2 is still timebombing. Win11 + Reaper 7.20, no inet-connection (blocked by firewall)
I've also checked previous releases of thig thing: all seem to be improperly cracked until now.

We defo need R2R to take on this little beast :)

Hi and welcome to TCD tech support.

If you experience issues whit God Particle (that nobody else doing a clean install has) please uninstall your cradle app if you use it. Its not even needed with TCD patched versions.

Uninstall God particle. Use a uninstaller that removes all traces.

Remove everything from folder: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Cradle
Remove snapshots from C:\Users\YOURNAME\Music\Cradle\The God Particle
Remove all previous installed demo or cracked God Particle.vst3 or .aax files that probably is floating around somewhere on your pc. (do a .vst3 or .aax search)

Reinstall TCD version.

There is absolutely not any sort of white noise or blackscreen when we tested. (Everything is pre-tested on clean machines)

Spread the Word
