Hi!

Sometimes there is no sound coming out of the mellotron. Does that happen to you too?

Intermittent sound has never happened to me with Team V.R Arturia products. Due to a lack of similar complaints, the issue is usually user related.

Been running 2024.8.CE - V.R since 9.1.2024. No problems. Upgraded from 2023.12 CE-V.R.

Piano v3/Mellotron/Stage 73/Whurli all updated into previous projects with no problems. As they always do. Reaper user here.

First-Time-Install: Disable Windows Defender/Your antivirus solution. If AV flags a file as suspect, it deletes it, and your install gets corrupted or can't begin.

Paths: If you change default install locations, it would do well to remember them for later reference.

If you are updating, personally I save my presets, nuke everything from orbit (Clean out remnants of previous install)...and start a fresh install. It's the only way to be sure.

I you had a failed install, clean your install locations with a Windows search for 'Arturia'. Delete everything the search results reveal. Make sure it's deleted by running another 'Arturia' search.

Clean the registry by hand or a registry cleaning solution. Time to learn how.

Re-install.

Hey, I have a question and I appreciate your help, everytime I backup arturia folder fully, and after installation I merge it with the old (without replacing files that existed)
I noticed that always somethign happens in that context which starts to delete all the presets and end up rebuilding the db,

can you share with us how the backup preset really works for you, many struggle with VR releases and saving the presets.
