Can't live without the CS-5501 when any of my vinyl rips sound dull no high freqs I always use the 'Analog fresh up' preset with 4x oversampling fav processing for years

I've also been using the CS-5501 for years and can't recommend it enough. Of all the channel strips I've tried, I found it to be the best sounding and most usable.
Even with the recent influx of "Vocal Chain" and "AI" processors aimed at live-streaming / podcasts / audio-books, nothing has impressed me as much as CS-5501.
The developer makes some great plug-ins (GSatPlus is free!) and CS-5501 keeps getting new features and bug fixes all the time.
If you're doing any spoken word work / editing don't sleep on it!

The Non-OpenGL/Non-GPU version is mainly for computers that only have a CPU. If working solely with audio on a computer then a GPU is not even necessary in most cases, but some plugins can be graphically demanding. Many use their workstation for a variety of things anyways, so if you have a GPU use the OpenGL version.
