That's the thing though, it IS a game changer. Think of all the microphones that have been sacrificed in order to get decent, dry sounding fart sounds... Only for those sounds to be stored and never see the light of the public. THIS, however, will put an end to this hardware genocide. Yes, this company decided to actually contribute to society in a meaningful way, by sacrificing their own studio equipment to make THE fart library. THE one that sets an standard.

I sample my own. I'd find it weird to use another's fart in one of my own songs. Depending on what I ate I either use an LA2A opto type for added color or really squash them with all buttons in on an 1176 with parallel processing to preserve a little of the transient and to imbue a bit of realism. I always record farts with two mics in a mid/side array and can widen out the sound to fit in a mix to taste.
